Faribault Police Chief Says Immigration is Not a Local Police Issue

John Sherwin, Faribault Chief of Police tells us local police have no authority to handle illegal immigrants unless they commit crimes. Even then a licensed federal law enforcement official has to step in. Sherwin also applauded a recent bill introduced in the state legislature increasing penalties for people who flee from police.
