Her cart had lots of fruit. A pizza, hotdogs & pastas but not much else to eat for dinners, just snacks really! Thats not the best reference of an actual weekly shop. Any veg apart from carrot? It would be gr8 if my local stocked more items, pretty sure a lot is missing. I have made a list though of things that are definitely cheaper. I found some products cheaper by $1+ & others are same price or only 5c cheaper.

That is literally how they keep their prices low. They make you put a quarter in the cart as incentive to bring it back, so they don't have to pay for additional workers to round up the carts. You literally get your quarter back.
This is the standard process in Europe in every big grocery store (or at least in Hungary for sure). I did not in know that in other places employees had to collect the carts.
$87. For a lot sugars and I’ll say about 1/4 of those items are processed with high sodium counts. I’m no light weight or fitness trainer but everything in that basket is exactly what I’m doctor doesn’t recommend.

It is WAY cheaper than shopping at Walmart & target near me. When I would spend 300 at Walmart, I would only spend about 100 at Aldi. You can move along instead of being so mad that someone else enjoys a store you don’t like😂😂
