EUCHARISTIC CONGRESS DAY 4: A QUICK GLANCE

Day 4 of the National Eucharistic Congress themed, ‘This Is My Body’ was a memorable day, especially for the Eastern churches as the Holy Qurbana of the Syro-Malabar Church was celebrated at Lucas Oil Stadium, Indianapolis. Simultaneously two masses were celebrated, one in Spanish and the other for youth. Among the main speakers were Bishop Joseph Espaillat, Bishop Daniel Flores, Dr. Dora Tobar, Lisa Brenninkmeyer, Curtis Martin, Brian Greenfield, Dr. Edward Sri, and Deacon Harold Burke-Sivers. Damon & Melanie Owens were the speakers on family experience. Eucharist-centered talks were delivered in packed conference halls, and attended by hundreds. Meanwhile, the relics of the patrons of the National Eucharistic Revival, Congress, and Pilgrimage were on display in the Convention Center. The spiritually-charged day came to a solemn conclusion with a Eucharistic procession participated by thousands.
