Hamstring stretch really game me some relief. I'm a 28 year old guy who came in to work with lower back pain. I didn't know which one would help best so I tried every single one in order until I got to the hamstring stretch. As soon as I lowered my leg I would feel a bit of popping on my lower back and when I was done, there was no pain in my lower back anymore. Thanks!
I'm a mover and my lower back usually bothers me because of past improper poster when moving items as well as poor posture growing up...I woke up back hurting and looked up this video and felt like I've had a new back all day...THANK U SOOOOOOOOO MUCH BROTHER.
Hi doctor . Thank you very much for your lower back exercises for i right now and for last 3 - 4 days i feel bad pain on my left side of back that was crucially painful when i did your exerices No 1 and 2 . The strong pain was radiating down my left leg I mived my left leg/knee to the left side. I did not have lower back pain for years. Now i am close to 64 years old man. (Young at heart 😂) Please could you tell me what are the best exercise from your 10 example exercises here on video clip that can halp me relieve pain that's located on left side of lower back. I would dearly appreciate it. I dont want pain killers neither non steroidal drugs. They are not good for kidneys Thank you very much. Haki.
I am just 20 years old and having pain in lower back due to heavy lifting daily work. I hope these exercises will help me 😅 i don’t even know… i have the Disc problem or the normal one.
These simple lower-back pain stretches really did the trick for this 77-year-old body...thank you so much! The next day there was 80% improvement, and the second day after doing them again, I feel 95% or better....at my age, that is maybe the maximum! Ha! This UA-cam video presentation is such a public service, I really admire people who want to help others, and you are a testament to that, and to your mother! (and maybe to your father, though I don't really know what I'm talking about any more...)
Exercise and you won't need medicine. I'm 18 and U'm also struggling with lower back pain. For me it's because I mostly sit a lot (aka majority of people). Exercise the best medicine.@@ayeshasiddika9248

Injured my back doing dead lifts, could barely move this morning. Did a few of these stretches and I'm so much better already. Still some pain, but my range of motion improved drastically after 10 minutes of these stretches !! Thanks so much
@sarahdoepke1030 I don't think I will lift anything for a while. I will keep doing these stretches until I have better range of movement than before. Pain has all gone, I lift in ranges where I'm comfortable, but I really am starting to understand how important flexibility is
My back was killing me- I tried all these stretches and could feel the tension release and flexibility improve. I will start doing every day! Thank you
I just tried these.. it worked like a magic. Since yesterday, I couldn't walk and tried many lower back exercises. But didn't get a good result. Now, I followed the video step by step and got great relief. Thanks alot 🙏
54 here, crazy lower back twinges and pain on one side only for days. Did all the stretches, but the piriformis one seems to have magically relieved the majority of pain almost immediately! Thank you, thank you! Will keep doing them all!
Ive had sore lower back pain for a couple months I stopped working out these few months but these stretches worked immediately and got me inspired to work out again to get myself stronger
I tweaked my back doing Turkish getups before hill sprints yesterday. Shoveling wet snow today just made things worse. Doing three sets of the first six exercises had me feeling much better. Thank you for your helpful video!
Your first 6 exercises relieved my back pain in just one set, the rest of the exercises was increasing the pain, as you said, I will do the ones are working for me.. Amazing video, thank you for this information.
I added some of yours this morning and one more for my rotator right shoulder from a few injuries. Luckily the major shoulder injury which they don’t even do anymore, a doctor like you noticed on my right arm I could only touch like the middle of my lower back, while the left arm like most people you can reach the middle or top. So I putt it up with that strap. Anyways brother I feel amazing thank you so much again. God bless you.
You've helped me before. I always know where to come back to when I hurt myself and need some stretches to be done where I can be confident I'm doing them right. I have one of those tables too. I wrecked my lower back 2 days ago lifting a bunch of compost bags multiple times. Didn't think anything of it, and was fine until the next afternoon. Lower back locked up, spasms like crazy, and I was bedridden for the day. Woke up this morning, sore and stiff as heck but needed to get some work done. I did 4-5 of these stretches for about 20-30 mins this morning, and I was able to get on with my day with significantly less pain. I wasn't lifting anything, but I was out of bed and able to get around. Back still sore, but not stiff and locking up. Back to work tomorrow. Will try and take it easy though and use my legs when and where possible. Thanks for being my go-to. I don't think you'll ever know how much you are appreciated and trusted.
I randomly woke up with back pain today and it’s been a struggle going to class and stuff, came home Did this and now I feel so much better. Much appreciated.
I slipped on one of my kids toys but didn’t fall, but after a few days my back randomly started hurting and I barely could move, even standing up hurt, I’m gonna a try these out and hopefully it helps me
I have to say to you sir that made this video that your thumbnail made me laugh so hard like a maniac at midnight my roommate woke up and had to check on me because I was trying so hard to muffle my laughs it sounded like i just broke down crying. Thank you, Doctor!
I have 4 buldging discs on my lower back in a zig zag pattern. I have to pay for physio once a month. These streches have really helped, and I'm now feeling more confident about getting back into training. Thank you for posting this. It's a big help. I've only done the streches 2 times in a 24-hour period, and I'm now laying in bed feeling more comfortable. I'd forgotten what settled in hed actually felt like. New follower inbound.
I've been having lower back pain since June when I was in a car accident. It always hurts, but standing really seems to aggravate it. I just tried the stretch where you put a foot over a knee and pull the knee towards your chest and 😳 the amount of relief I felt was amazing. Thank you so much for showing me that stretch!
Thank you so much, I have a normal back pain and it interferes with my daily work and you helped me relieve my pain, thank you very much, you really helped me

A lot of basic stretches feel good to me while doing them. For me (and everybody’s different) it’s the aftermath! My back apparently does not like seated hamstring stretches! It took me a while to realize what was causing back pain and spasms. That’s it - along with the seated soles together groin stretch. It’s all ok while doing them. The fun starts when I try to get up. ⛔️

Thx for sharing this. I’ve been to PT so many times over the years. The prone position up on elbows and arms extended hurt like mad for me. I also have many back problems including stenosis which you mentioned. Why is it that the Drs prescribing PT don’t give the PT folks more details than just low back pain and side????🙄 I’ve experienced intense pain many times during PT thinking no pain no gain and did the exercises anyway. Again, thank you. Wish you were in Kentucky!
Nice explanation and showing of different exercises, but I wish you explained why each different exercise helps or hurts different categories of back pain... Like why bending forward is good for stenosis but bad for bulging disk, vice versa
I just tried because I felt huge pain since morning and was cooking until I could not stand more. I appreciate for these tips. I will try to do them every night.
I did these stretches after feeling my back muscles pop (couldn't do any day to day things) and had to keep doing these stretches x 2 per day for a week and over the course of that week my back improved massively. Now if I feel any pain starting up then I just do these stretches again and it goes away.
Felt relief after one session. Bulging Disc. Hip problems. I felt no pain for about an hour afterwards and those with lower back pain an hour can sometimes be a godsend. Lol. Thanks for the video.

I've been in pain for the last 4 days. I woke up this morning, and immediately, it's the worst so far. All lumbar pain and all localized. Great stretches! The only one that caused me more pain while doing it was the hamstring stretch with the belt. What does it mean regarding the source of my pain?
I cannot tell u how helpful this is. I have ddd and stenosis and the pts mainly had me doing the cobra thing. Of course it didn't help. They really need to recognize that different stretches may or may not help. For me it just felt like we'll this makes it worse so I guess I have to just deal with it.

They really need to recognize that different stretches may or may not help. For me it just felt like we'll this makes it worse so I guess I have to just deal with it.
