My issue is that I really don’t like the idea of vent mounts, I don’t want stuff impeding my car’s airflow. But I don’t see a version of this for dash/windshield, nothing for some reason!
Check our latest video actually. Like the one we posted 1-2 days ago on our channel. A mount that doesn’t have to block your air vent is what we reviewed.
Will this cool while the iPhone is plugged in? I have wired car play so don’t need the charging but it gets damn hot here and I need my phone to keep working during the days navigating between jobs etc. thanks for the review!
Yeah I think wired charging takes precedence so it’ll probably still run the fan. That’s a weird scenario though so I’m not 100% sure. Good thing is Amazon makes returns easy if it didn’t work. But I think it will
@jav65 You do realize Summer is only one season of the year right? 🤣 there’s also spring fall and winter. All of which might have heat coming from the vents…
Will you ever do a compare video between this cooling wireless charger and others (ZEEHOO) etc? I ended up purchasing a ZEEHOO charger and wanted to see if there’s a better option out there with how much time I spend in my car
Why is this even a thing? It’s not MagSafe so it will slow charge your iPhone, if the purpose of this, is to mount it somewhere then you won’t be using your iPhone in any demanding way so it shouldn’t even get hot enough to matter. What am I missing? Why would ANYONE buy this? Idk… this solves NO problems lol
it is magsafe though? putting your phone in dashboard will be under direct sunlight, it may get heat from sunlight alone. Also using navigation map, LTE/5G, GPS location, constant screen, while being charged wireless may produce heat. It does solve some specific problems such as navigation as i said.
It 100% helps with heat and their marketing says it can charge faster than MagSafe since it has a fan, it won’t throttle as much. They claim 2x faster charge. For me, I don’t let me phone get on my dash nor that hot. Maybe an Uber driver might enjoy it.
Heat slows charging and also.. overheating makes your phone not work soooo.. who wouldn't want this? I have one. It's a crazy strong magnet. As a uber driver and delivery driver especially, it's nice to have something that will hold your phone and you an easily take it off in a split second to jump out and deliver fast without worrying about the arms on those automated mounted opening randomly.
If you have UA-cam, video streaming, and CarPlay map navigation all running at the same time your phone definitely heats up even in winter. iPhone has thermal throttling which slows down the processor, dims down the display and you will experience stuttering. That’s why cooling is necessary even if you aren’t an Uber driver.

get a magnetic phone holder which mounts on your ac vents and the AC should take care of the rest
That definitely works in the hot months but not the cold ones!
You need to plug into the QC 3.0 port on a car charger I think. It needs to be compatible port
Perhaps!
Can you use a z fold 6 on this car charger
@@patrickvasquez9573 no idea
Is this cryoboost realy cooling phone ?
It definitely cools it a bit
Is it possible to turn off the blue lights? I imagine it would be distracting if you aren't using the charger and it's dark/night.
not from the charger. but you can make diy switch
source: i have that exact model in my car
I dont see a point as the phone mounted on aircon vent already receives a ton of cold air.

@@Slimothy😅
Does the iPhone fall off the charger on bad roads?
It shouldn’t
No I use it in a freightliner
How fast does it charge? I got one and it’s charging like 30% per hr. That seems sloooow.
did not talk about the base mount on the dahsboard
That’s because that’s not what this product is

We have other car mount reviews on the channel, but only when the company reaches out and sends us one. Otherwise, likely not going to happen.
@@Slimothy Ah gotcha, thanks anyways, good review!
It's too bad ESR doesn't have a suction cup mount.
They do
those sucks. no joke
You can use it either whatever mount you like
Does NOT work. When you put a car on your phone, just blocks the fan from cooling the phone
Yeah I wouldn’t put a car on my phone ever tho
It mounts to a vent why does it need a fan? 😂😂
Winter + cooling around center of phone near mount
hahahah you are so funny!
Heat...
What suckage that its's vent mount only. Oh well. Next!
It’s a stand 18mm lock for the mounting. It’s universal so will work with any other lock you already have
Literally can use it with any phone mount I just got one and I use it on a truck mount
😂

Gps while charging makes the iPhone over heat. I’ve had it shut off on me from over heating.
