- Several people have asked for photos of my 95 year old Grandma and 75 year old Mom when they were younger. I lost most of my photos in a storage fire so I don’t have many left.
Grandma, Mom and I look at photos from very early until now.
Sorry about the format. The photos were too cropped the other way.

Both mum and gran look like movie stars. Absolutely stunning. And you inherited their genes too! My grandma is in her 90's and still wears makeup and earrings too 🙂
My grandma died many years ago (in her late 80s) but the main thing I remember is she’d always be in a formal dress with perfectly matching high heels and jewelry every single day of the week just to sit in her apartment, until her very last day!!!! And she always had a looong cigarette in hand 🤦🏼♀️😂 but that generation could DRESS!!!! And they never ever would be seen not fully made up and dressed to the nines!!!!
Their humility and humor make them more attractive, if that's even possible.

Doris was such a stunner all her life. Some of those pics of her young are mezmerisingly beautiful. Perfect features, perfect teeth, gorgeous skin. She could have been a movie star. She also had personality and wit! They broke the mold after they made her. Incredible woman. She passed down some jackpot DNA. Her daughter and grandson are gorgeous too, they hit the gene pool lottery for sure God bless them.

What a blessing… I’m blessed to still have both of my grandmother’s… Gma Lucy is 92 (she won’t give up her high heels) & Gma Marge is 93 (still driving like a race car driver). Both are sassy queen’s. ❤️❤️
Lucky you! All four of my grandparents are gone and the last one that died died the next day after my 11 birthday. I did get a final happy birthday call from her though.

They too are up bright and early...dressed to the max...donning hair, nails, makeup and jewelry...all ready to roll. Just the other day, I thought to myself...I'd better get with the program too! Gio it makes me smile ,happy within! When you said to your mom, you had forgiveness in your heart mom to a point, loved her father . You could see that in her ,by the actions when she took over her father needs when had fallen, to weak to care for his self. It goes to show we can become loving , caring for even the ones that repeating abuse us, or the other parent we loved .

It fascinates me ... even those, like each of you, who are just so stunning and seemingly without any physical flaws .. can pick apart so many things about themselves when looking back on pictures. kind of grossed me out after awhile. they compliment each other and tear themselves apart. i made a vow to stop talking like this about myself the second my daughter was born. after a while it became second nature. try to see the beauty in yourself that others do.. it can be really hard, but its important... these people are gorgeous and i hope they recognize it one day.

This reminds me of my Mom, Kay. She passed away in 2012 at only 69 years old.
When she was young, she looked like Elizabeth Taylor, but she would laugh when I told her that. Like Liz Taylor, she had back problems/scoliosis. She married my Dad at age 19, knowing he had MS- Multiple Schlerosis. She met him at hospital where she worked, - she worked with his Mom, my Grandma. She was a caregiver to Dad without any help, as well as having me & my sister. She didn't take care of herself & put everyone else first.
Hence, died of heart failure/stroke at 69.
I wish I could download a picture, she was beautiful but never thought so.
Morale to the story. The outside doesn't show what's going on inside. Everyone has pain in life. Your Mom & Grandma have had their share of pain.
