@@SJC49 I'm not a fan of Trump, but he didn't say storm the capital. So not sure what you're talking about. And he's gaining a lot more supporters lately, 8 months later.
I live in a small town. We're black, brown, white and mixed race. Guarentee you, come here and try to destroy our lil town. Ya, might wanna think long and hard before that mistake! Gotta love Jason for tellin #facts
I completely agree but it's not just the media, it's also the government. They've been trying to separate us for years but we really need to stick together, no matter what race, ethnicity or religion we have more in common than most people realize. People may not like what I say but I don't care ALL LIVES MATTER & the color of your skin shouldn't matter. I was raised to treat everyone the same & never treat or look at them as lesser than me. I love this song & the message!!
You are right. This song isn't about BLM or any specific group. It's about all the violence running rampant in our country going unchecked and people suffering zero consequences for their crimes. Innocent lives lost, property destroyed. That is not, nor has it ever been the answer. I was born 65 years ago in a small town with a population of 300 and today it is still under 2000. Jason is right. We take care of our own. We are all neighbors, family, brothers and sisters, coworkers, etc. We all depend on each other and that's the way it has always been in small towns, we are a community. If a family suffers a tragedy, everyone shows up to do their work, cook for them, take care of their kids, etc. It's our life. We treasure it. We treasure each other. And about the news clips in the video, eight of the scenes come from outside the U.S., including Germany, Canada, Spain and Ukraine. Some of the video clips were too brief or lacked unique characteristics necessary to identify their origin. Loved your reactions.
As a 65 yr old American mutt, I'm glad & hopeful to see the younger generations keep an open mind and not just blindly follow what others tell you. Recognize the evil agendas. Keep researching for the truth.Let your heart & soul see it for what it is. GOD Bless!
I was raised in rural Indiana where there was respect. I watched the names of fallen soldiers run on a ticker tape at the bottom of the news during Vietnam. I was taught to see people not color or religion. I was an RN for 40 plus years and went into the roughest hoods in my city. I was careful but never worried. I'm a midwest farmer's daughter and proud of the values I was raised with. WE ALL BLEED RED!💔
you guys hit the nail on the head. protest if you want but don't bring your crime to our town or neighborhood. bless y'all and keep on putting out the videos.
I understand why he took out the Black lives matter of the video does that mean we should take it out of our front yards what's the difference whether it's in a video or whether it's all over our neighborhood I don't know there's too much controversy that people try to bring out on this song just saying so you guys are nailing it
Your Dad is completely right about this video,as well as yourself youngman. He simply is saying no matter what color we are, in this small town we have each others back and your not destroying anything in our town. Thank you both for understanding this has nothing to do with race.
Over 60 years ago my Aunt was entering her large apartment building in a very big city and a man put a knife to her throat but GOD protected her and he took her purse but didn’t hurt her. All violence needs to be stopped and criminals need to be held accountable. All forms of racism needs to be addressed and stopped. I think the message in this song is very good. It puts a spotlight on very important subjects and opens up communication which is needed. We are to love as Christ lived us !!!!
Wow ! You are an amazing father and role model for your son and he is obviously a wonderful young man. I feel you both understand the message of the song and what the enemy has done to try to destroy GOD WILL USE TO BUILD. We are called to love one another and love our neighbors of all races !!!! ❤
People were trying to say it's racist not only because of the visuals that are legit from the news, but also because the building he was singing in front of. It was the location of unfortunately, a lynching I think in the early 1900's. They are saying that because of that, but never said anything when other people like Miley Cyrus filmed in front of that building 🤔🤷🏻♀️. From what I've gathered, could be wrong, Jason grew up in this town and his film crew chose the spot. I don't think they even thought it was the site of something that tragically happened over 100 yrs ago. I personally, definitely, feel it was reaching on the people's part that was trying to say it's racist. It's not a racist song, and it's not inciting violence like they were trying to say. Great reaction and commentary!
The production company picked the location. Not every1 knows history of every place,1927 long time. I'm from that area, my husband black he didn't know the history of that court house, Not everyone is a historian
Great song, and great message. What it really seems to do is call out to all the criminals out there, telling them that the things they get away with in the large cities, well not fly in a lot of the smaller places. Kind of like, drawing a line in the sand, and warning them what's to come if they were to cross it looking for trouble. The ones yelling out racism and such, would be the same one making excuses, if somebody were to ask them if everybody should be punished for doing similar things found in the music video.
The vast majority who've reacted to this song agree with it and actually like the music. Jason Aldean has done more for the race relations than anything our politicians ever have. He's also turned a lot of people on to just how good country music is. We must stop letting lies divide us and just become fellow Americans. Excellent reaction. You've got a new sub.
I live a few miles from one of 13 all black towns left in Oklahoma. Some really great neighbors. I know they would come running if I had trouble on my ranch and I would do the same for them!! It’s not about color, it’s about not wanting the city’s disrespect and violence here! Great video!!❤
There's a reason some people hate it, or think it's about hate. Because the song is a perfect mirror... Whatever one sees in it, is their own heart reflecting back at them.
Drac ty for the video,we are all Americans,I feel Jason Aldean got this video absolutely Right, this not about Black and white, this about Good vs Evil.God bless you 🙏🇱🇷
You are so right. A protest is not the same thing as committing crimes and vandalisms. Unfortunately that's what Antifa and black lives matter stand for. This is a song that every American should hear and understand the message. It's talking about small towns, having a community, and having everyone's back, this does not depend on what race you are. Those that are saying this song are racist are the racists. Go Jason Aldean🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲
Thank you for your an Christian dad's view. It is right on, not racist, but about being a community oh and look up the song "this ain't nothing"" a real powerful song of love Christian would appreciate. There are a lot of country music songs that talk about the value of family,,belief in god,,caring for others that people miss. Many see country music as only for white people. I say check out one of my top favorite country music singers, blanco brown. Might open you eyes a bit
Awesome reaction! The one part that I think you might’ve missed, is that his granddaddy gave him a gun, and they’re going to try to take it. Then he follows that with Try That In A Small Town! 100% on your reaction! This song is absolutely not racist!
The world needs more Christian dads like yours. You don’t know just how blessed you are to have him, young man you are rich no matter how much money you have. You are RICH having a dad like that. Morally rich, intellectually rich, and rich in love, and that’s the best kind of rich there is. 💯💯
Y'all have the most honest and open-minded response and review of this song of any of the videos I've watched and I've seen hundreds of them. I'm glad I found your channel..
You two are the only ones I've watched that really got the message. He's just showing NEWS ARTICLES from the networks 6:00 news, and it was never labeled racist then, so when did these news clips become racist? People, just accept each person we meet and have in our lives as individuals, not as a whole race, we're all individuals. There's trash in every segment of our population, trash and meaness is not a race thing, it's individuals. I am a 76 yo white woman from Arkansas, raised up during the 60s when integration first started and if I can accept, love and have a Christian fellowship with any race or person, what's wrong with you young kids? You sure miss out on knowing some great people when you close your life down like that. People forget that white is also a color, so guess you could say we're all people of color!!!
GOD works in mysterious ways. People are talking and expressing their desire to come together and not be divided. This country needs to LOVE ONE ANOTHER !!!!
I was in Vancouver, WA right across the bridge from Portland, OR when the riots took place. Some of the rioters actually leaked into Vancouver across the bridge and started looting businesses, carjacking innocent seniors and people with disabilities, threatening people on the streets for no real reason other than their skin color, and even have had multiple domestic homicides in our apartment complex alongside one of the buildings there almost being burnt down. It took me and a group of ten friends aiding law enforcement whenever we could (or putting out fires, or defending other citizens) to inspire other people to start joining in and peacefully protesting the riots and providing aid wherever and whenever applicable. I grew up in a small town, so yes. That came naturally. And now I'm in a small town again, because old habits die hard. The true American value is accepting our differences and those in others - and loving and helping those who need it most. It's about being a community. Holding hand in hand and standing with, for, and beside eachother, shoulder to shoulder. If we have to fight to keep that, then we'll fight. And we'll win. This song hits home so hard. This song hits so home, that I feel like I'm back in the big urban yard with my schoolmates, thinking about what we're gonna do over the weekend. And it brings a tear to my eye that's filled with pride, a standing tall demeanor that's more accurately put as a contemptible aptitude for equality, and a character unmatched by any hatred. We fight with love, and united we stand.
I was raised in the town in the video. And what Jason is talking about is true. With everything that is wrong with America right now, people need to turn their hearts over to God. This song is about respect and the love of this country country
What some folks are saying is because there was a lynching at that courthouse in 1929 , that it is a symbol of lynching.. but disney used this courthouse in at least 2 movies, including a hannah montana movie, and that this song has "dog whistles" spread thru it. Dont let others form your opinions, decide for yourself what you are hearing and seeing.

Amen !!! Let's come together!!! That's all he is trying to show things that all races have done wrong. He makes alot of sense!! Jason Aldean was asked to play at the Superbowl next year. Thank you for your time and explaining this to those that are taking it all wrong!!

Y’all got it, good reaction bro, and thanks Pops! 👍

In our small town we had a group of old men who sat in our town square with their rifles saying we dare someone to come try to tear our town up!
Hit the mail on the head no racism in that song
Thank you friends for a level-headed commentary. This should bring the country together and prevent more vandalism and down right criminal activity from taking place...people need to wake up and get tough on crime. Peaceful demonstrations are allowed according to our Constitution, but this kind of madness and criminality that has taken place in the last several years , must come to an end. This young man got it.
Thank you for truth!
So nice to hear y’all!! Love from Arkansas!!
