Freddie performed all of his vocals straight up live, no talkbox or filling tracks. But To be honest, in the homevideo releases of the Wembley shows of 1986, some of the audio was cleaned up a little bit and boosted another area's and filled in where it wasnt strong. But I think even its done sparingly and one of them is in hammer to fall which was performed here as well

I was there (about a third of the way back in the standing area). To be honest hindsight is a wonderful thing and anyone who says they knew they were watching a legend at the time isn't being honest. Queen were riding a post live aid wave of popularity after they had slumped to" also rans" in the years before and not even close to the icons they are now. It was an amazing concert and theres no doubt Fredie was an amazing front man. I just wish I could have told the 17 year old version of me how special it was. Then again thats easy to say, no one ever realises they are watching magic when they are in it.
