Good job! Building and repairing will give you much insight into the operation and potential failure points. Trust me, I get the I feel stupid remark when deciding which way a screw gets inserted and it does matter on certain ones. If I may give you one tip, I use a small plastic cup or a cap from a bottle with no more than a millimeter or two of locktite in the cup. That way you can dip the threads into the cap and get just the right amount you need. Keep going! I love it when a lady shows up all the guys at the field!

Also since I published this I've seen a couple of people use the cup method and to be honest I really don't know how I haven't thought of it. So much so that even father uses this.
