Place is gem man it needs to be a historic place and preserved for the future. It’s in pretty nice condition for how old it is so it can be saved. Just want it to be restored not changed into apartments. It’s history and I think it should be with the church again. I love the place really cool

Josh this place is so amazing. 20:12 look at the nun on the far right. She has a very scary look. But what I noticed was the face the branches & leaves are making on the left side of her head! 😳 36:32-34 in my left ear I heard a HI or HEY!

So much history that no one knows and it makes it so fascinating and eerie at the same time. Reminds me of a convent I stayed at during a school 'retreat'.

This building and the architecture is absolutely beautiful. These are the type of finds that I would just LOVE to see. The courtyard is gorgeous. And I’m pretty sure those are wild blackberries. My grandma used to have them in her backyard in the woods. What an amazing find Josh! I’m so JEALOUS!!

Hi Josh. Don't know if you're able to actually read all these comments, but... ok, I found that in 2020 it was sold and the nuns, when they moved, went to Ohio. There were 69 nuns in the graveyard. ALL have been relocated to a local cemetery in that area of Buffalo. They petitioned the courts and were granted permission. It was said in one article that I found that it's supposed to be turned into a school; a second elementary school for the Buffalo Academy of Science Charter School. Fingers crossed they do that. It's such a shame to see all that history go to the curbside.. Love the video! I absolutely love stuff like this!! Thanks for sharing!

The time period of Great Tartaria has a story that needs to be told for all the people that lost their lives in order to keep this story hidden. This place your in is one of the many palaces that belongs to these people. They were very advanced and lived without wars and used the free energy that was God given to our planet. Any time you find these unbelievable castles and palaces with such detailed architecture and large doors and windows, they came from This civilization of Tartaria. This building really reminds me of my grandmother’s house. A year ago she moved into a house that’s 200 or + years old and she has some of her childhood furniture in it and it makes me feel like I’m in the 50s.

Thanks for that, Josh. Such a beautiful place. A pity that the statue of the Blessed Mother (Jesus' mom) in the overgrown courtyard or the one on the tower (holding Jesus) couldn't have been moved to another Catholic church or school nearby. The last statue you saw was that of St. Dominic -- which wouldn't be uncommon as the convent was owned by the Dominican Nuns of the Perpetual Rosary. While the term sisters and nuns are used interchangeably -- you would really never see nuns as they were cloistered and rarely left the convent (thus you realized they were almost self-sustaining). Sisters you would see as nurses in hospitals or teachers in schools. The table that your friend thought scary merely held crucifixes (incorrectly identified as Jesus crosses) that used to be attached to rosary beads. All Catholic church altars have a saint's relic in them. This convent was also rumored to have a splinter of the True Cross (that would be wood from the cross that Christ was crucified). Good point about the convent / monastery once being surrounded by woods. These were always built away from the city population centers -- only the population eventually surrounded them. I must confess that I am a bit envious of you and your traveling -- perhaps hitting every country in the world could be on your bucket list as you are still young. More importantly you are following your bliss -- something that too few people do these days.
Olive oil...formaldehyde (knocks u out)....boric acid(cleans)...sodium bicarb(baking soda). The paper was a M.A.R. =medication administration record. Those were iv catheters. Very cool stuff. Witch hazel....cools and disinfectant

Those berries were Poke berries, very deadly when matured. Although if you catch/pluck Poke plants young, you can steam them/cook them in a pot and eat them. As soon as the red appears they are dangerous to consume and can be fatal. Also I enjoyed this video, I enjoy a lot of your vids. I respect your dedication and drive to keep exploring and trying new things. Incredible work as always! :) (Also I love Asylums the most, I hope to explore some of them one day. Asylums and Victorian style architecture have always been my favorite.)

36:10 That appears to be Saint Francis, one of the most venerated saints of my faith. Founder of four orders, patron of the Franciscan Order, animals, merchants, ecology, and so on. Almost every abbey and monastery i’ve been to has a statue of him.
My aunts bought a abandoned church and are remodeling if your ever in Pittsburgh let me know I’ll take you , it is pretty similar with a cool back story. If you like those windows you’ll love the ones they have …. Theirs were made by Tiffany & Co.
I love how Josh was worried about the lift (elevator) and was cautious at first. But proceeded to step in it because he was so innocently curious about it having a telephone phone 😂❤️
Wow the movie projector brought back a lot of memories for me. We used to have one like that with a lot of home movies filmed in Super 8 that my parents took back in the 1960's all the way up to late 1970's. As for the movie in question, it's Sinister.
The thing that amazes me about these places is what is left behind. Home movie films? A reel still left in projector! My curiosity would have been peaked at that moment.

The stonework is real high quality. It's almost like looking at a car built in the 1950's.They just don't do that anymore.

I know this isn't a haunted location investigation but at 11:12 there is a face in the lower half of the window (third window from the left on the top row) and then when you pan back at 11:16 its gone
36:10 That appears to be Saint Francis, one of the most venerated saints of my faith. Founder of four orders, patron of the Franciscan Order, animals, merchants, ecology, and so on. Almost every abbey and monastery i’ve been to has a statue of him.

Wow the movie projector brought back a lot of memories for me. We used to have one like that with a lot of home movies filmed in Super 8 that my parents took back in the 1960's all the way up to late 1970's. As for the movie in question, it's Sinister.

The thing that amazes me about these places is what is left behind. Home movie films? A reel still left in projector! My curiosity would have been peaked at that moment.
