For being so geographically separated, it is fascinating how many seemingly small things we do share culturally between old Norse and native America. Now we share the music too! 🖤
@@Merecir i wouldn't say a drop a blood, from what we can tell we actually did not bad and traded with eachother when they came here at first and only left after some border skirmishes with other natives. so some of us were welcoming and some of us weren't. by the sounds of it, we loved the milk and clothe they brought and they liked our pelts.

This surprised me, and in a good way. They upped their game and added just bit more melody but it didn’t weigh the song down. These guys are a force to be reckoned with. Hail Blackbraid. Good stuff guys.
As a long time Black Metal enthusiast, I have to definitely make a positive comment about this song and band. These are the types of artists that need to keep the flame burning of the old. What I mean by this is taking older ideas and keeping it still relevant when it comes to sound in particular. Even though this is all analog to digital recording, I might be wrong of course but it does deliver the type of analog buzz and atmosphere you would get back in the late 80s to late 90s with the equipment back then and does carry at the same time strong melody and just pure strumming skills. Elements from Gorgororth's old tunes are what I felt and heard right away with the album Under The Sign of Hell in particular. Getting to feeling, watching the video really shows that deep rooted earthly resemblance and connection we mostly have to nature or some of us at least try to that's a whole other conversation. I think if you understand that about Black Metal then you understand why it is an intensely deep trance it can be when listening to it. Brilliant!
@@victorkreig6089 pretty sure that if your land had been "conquered" you wouldn't have the same state of mind. It's a bit easy to think like that when it wasn't your ancestors that got killed, stolen and raped...

A burning spear
To pierce the shroud

Their vengeful spirits cry
By night they ride
On winds of war
A vein of fire
Ignites the sky
The song of fate
Grows louder now
Within our hearts
Their fallen spirits thrive
Within our hearts their fallen spirits thrive
To ride out
On rolling thunder
Bathed in ancient blackened majesty
Sacred spell of retribution
Cast in shadow, torn from the forlorn fabrics of time
A vision of fate
Reflected in the mirror of death
