I don't understand why there are so many segment videos about the stupid IRS tool when it's complete and utter garbage!! For starters, it will lock you out for 24 hours if you check too often. Then, it shows me different messages each time I check. It;s like the IRS can't decide if they are gonna send me my payment this time around, even tho I qualify.
What’s the point of that thing anyway? I filed my 2020 taxes February 12th, I owed a ton of money on my unemployment, I paid upfront with a credit card. I have NEVER owed taxes in my LIFE. So, paying with a credit card wiped out my direct deposit information. They will have to look back to 2019. I’ve been doing direct deposit since it was created! I’ve filed electronic taxes with the same software company for the last 23 years. People want immediate gratification! It’s only been ONE WEEK!

I didn't receive the last $600 in stimulus and filed as such on my taxes this year. The IRS said that I'd be eligible to receive it as a tax refund, even though I filed my taxes the first day you could file them I've not received a penny. The IRS's portal says that they haven't processed my tax refunds and that I am either not eligible for the stimulus check or that they have no clue about the information related to me receiving one. I haven't made a single dollar in the last 6 months so if I'm not eligible, then who the heck is eligible?

Don't have to file , a tax it s less than 12,000 a year . So I'm thinking couple days before we get our ss checks or same day as our as check . Heck who knows .
If you're a retired person with a generous retirement income, or if your spouse is still working and makes above a certain amount, you're likely to get less (or even nothing)

They aren't sending that (2019) out now. You need to ask for a credit for that on your 2020 return, increase your refund. my taxes have been filed, I received the first two stimulus checks with no issue. I’m not sure what’s going on this time around. She got $11,000 in stimulus but I got no stimulus at all since the pandemic. Finally got IRS to mail me my IP PIN but magically post office lost my IRS mail 3 weeks ago and nobody can find it. Smh.

I filed my taxes Feb 13 and only recieved part of my refund. The majority of it hasn't been sent. My stimulus payment according to the IRS page is coming by mail and will be sent on the 19th but I am confused why it's by mail when my refund is direct deposit. Also, the only way I was able to see this on the IRS page is because I entered in my old address from 4 years ago and it finally didn't lock me out for 24 hrs. Why would they still have this address on file??!! I just filed taxes with our new address. Nothing about any of this makes sense! This all false, they really need to cut it out. You have folks who didn't get the second, claimed it on their 2020 taxes and these refunds have not been processed. Some since January. Your report is worthless, Get My Payment on the IRS site, does not work. Says not available. I've had the same direct deposit for 5 years, direct deposit of my Social Security check, but no third stimulus payment. I received the other two payments direct deposit promptly. There have been no changes in my info in five years.
One more piece of advice, if you are currently under garnishment by the it's or a private debtor and your expecting a direct deposit for this check, once you see it in there, if you can help it, withdrawal it out because unlike the former stimulus checks under Trump's administration, this third one is NOT protected from garnishment. So if you can get your money out when you see it go in, take it out to be safe.

As will be direct deposit if you have direct deposit . I have direct express which as set up for me by ss. No proplem getting first 2 checks . Don't have to file , a tax it s less than 12,000 a year . So I'm thinking couple days before we get our ss checks or same day as our as check . Heck who knows .
If you're a retired person with a generous retirement income, or if your spouse is still working and makes above a certain amount, you're likely to get less (or even nothing)

They aren't sending that (2019) out now. You need to ask for a credit for that on your 2020 return, increase your refund. I filed my taxes Feb 13 and only recieved part of my refund. The majority of it hasn't been sent. My stimulus payment according to the IRS page is coming by mail and will be sent on the 19th but I am confused why it's by mail when my refund is direct deposit. Also, the only way I was able to see this on the IRS page is because I entered in my old address from 4 years ago and it finally didn't lock me out for 24 hrs. Why would they still have this address on file??!! I just filed taxes with our new address. Nothing about any of this makes sense! Now I'm wondering of they tried to send my stimulus to our old bank account as well which is no longer active and that is why the stimulus coming by mail... 🙄

This all false, they really need to cut it out. You have folks who didn't get the second, claimed it on their 2020 taxes and these refunds have not been processed. Some since January. Many folks have not gotten the 3rd stimmy. All of this uncertainty is horrible. I don't mind waiting, its the playing games part i can't deal with. All of this ambiguity, be honest with the people 🙄.

Your report is worthless, Get My Payment on the IRS site, does not work. Says not available. I've had the same direct deposit for 5 years, direct deposit of my Social Security check, but no third stimulus payment. I received the other two payments direct deposit promptly. There have been no changes in my info in five years.
One more piece of advice, if you are currently under garnishment by the it's or a private debtor and your expecting a direct deposit for this check, once you see it in there, if you can help it, withdrawal it out because unlike the former stimulus checks under Trump's administration, this third one is NOT protected from garnishment. So if you can get your money out when you see it go in, take it out to be safe.

@@michellegriffin847 Just having some past due bills is okay, once they send it to collections they then obtain a court-ordered judgement to garnish the money. It's possible your debt didn't advance to court then.
