Coincidence that I found your video immediately after my first attempt at driving the Class 68. I did find the horn lever but I couldn't for the life of me find the master key. I know that it's shift+w and I could hear it turn, but I couldn't actually see it. Thanks for another of your informative videos, I must watch it again.👍👍
It has been a long time coming! In two past videos where I could have used the 68, I opted for the 67 instead. I thought it was time to finally get a 68 video on the channel :)
The caution signal outside Oulton Broad North station, and the subsequent danger signal (beside the opposite running line) do apply to your train. If you approach the danger signal slowly it will clear, allowing you into the station section.
27:27 I find it sort of funny that someone as well spoken as PTG still describes heavy rain as "pissing it down" like many people. I suppose there's really no other way if describing it then
It surprises me that two 68s would be used with only 3 coaches. You'd think one would do the job, unless it's just a question of not having a cab car or not wanting to move the locomotive around at a terminus. I guess there's not a turntable there either. 🤔
They have one at each end because when it arrives at Norwich it will go back to either lowestoft or Great Yarmouth. Norwich does not have run round sidings.
Hey man, love your videos man. You're like the Daggerwin for Train Simulator!! Wanted to ask you how you get the drive by views? Do you have to edit it all together post? Cheers man
I record the external drive by views on a previous run through the route - I tend to choose easy to find landmarks, so I can edit them into the video in post production.
@@thereisnobean8537 You only need the Scotrail Class 68 pack off steam. Which is 11.99 but can be reduced in the sale (there is meant to be one at the end of this week) for about 5 pounds.
@@ollie7373 I'm meaning that plus scenario requirements. That's the thing with all the 3rd party stuff, like "look! Get this! It's only *insert price*!!"

Cant beat the sound of a class 68 roaring out of a station 😁🇬🇧

The horn is just next to the aws reset button. Also that hamburg-lúbeck route on train sim world is really cool
Another beautiful day in the UK, I see.
The horn control is on the lift hand side buddy from Alan in Lowestoft
I always love these videos, apart from being interesting I find them very therapeutic...
I miss jointed tracks at speed on a pacer, such a fun ride :D
Agreed, even though I hated Pacers!
Tell me about it! It was like a bloody rollercoaster! Great fun though
Great video as always, I travelled up to the Wherry Lines every now and then for the 37s and 68s, good times
I was thinking about Class 68 on PTG channel when exactly this comes out!!!

Yaya, Lowestoft where I live, looks so acutely done 👍👍
Could you take a pic of your notes for learning a route. . Would be interesting to see how you go about doing it..
The horn controller is on the very left hand side of the desk. It’s camouflage in the black.
Thanks, I can see it now on playback!
Is it the one with what look like music notes under it? I noticed that one and thought maybe that was it.
Brilliant! I’m currently working on making a Wherry lines game and this video really helped thanks!
How’s it coming along?
ahh the class 68 beautiful
Semaphores! Didn't realize they were AWS equipped

Hey PTG, the horn is next to the AWS in case if you are still wondering
Amazing video as always
You can see where I live in Reedham in Norfolk
Excellent.! I'll stick this on later.🙂👍
Awesome videos as always!!! 😁😁
You'll love the Bromley North Branch
7:07 right to the AWS Reset Button :D
I see it now on playback, I just couldn't see it at the time when I was recording haha!
Wait, so when the speed limit sign looks like a fraction, the lower speed is for locomotives? I thought it was just freight trains
hi ptg rail could you do edinburgh waverly to london euston in the 390 if possible?
68s are beast

Can you do a tutorial on how to install Armstrong Powerhouse enhancement packs?
Alan Thomson has done a video on how to install AP packs. I've linked it below- hope it helps.

I can literally see my house from here 😂
I've been there IRL!
Is this default or RW Enhancer graphics? looking nice...
The only enhancement in use here is the AP Weather and Sky Pack, I'm not currently using RW Enhancer.

@@PTGRail thank you so much!! Such great attention to detail man.
Hello
It's a shame that the class 68 AP pack costs over £100 for all the requirements
No it doesn't
@@ollie7373 I looked up all individual prices of all the requirements and it added up to around £110

I can't wait for you to leave UA-cam again 😕
Umm, why? 😅
It was a sarcastic message I don't want you to leave UA-cam 😢
Well I plan to be around for a while yet :)
Really let's go 😊
