- In this next episode of the route learning series, we revisit the Wherry Lines for a fast journey between Lowestoft and Norwich, with just one stop at Oulton Broad North along the way. I chose to drive this journey in a Class 68, as it's the first time this loco has appeared on the channel - and the Class 68 is utilising the AP Class 68 enhancement pack.

Coincidence that I found your video immediately after my first attempt at driving the Class 68. I did find the horn lever but I couldn't for the life of me find the master key. I know that it's shift+w and I could hear it turn, but I couldn't actually see it. Thanks for another of your informative videos, I must watch it again.👍👍

The horn is just next to the aws reset button. Also that hamburg-lúbeck route on train sim world is really cool

It has been a long time coming! In two past videos where I could have used the 68, I opted for the 67 instead. I thought it was time to finally get a 68 video on the channel :)

Is it the one with what look like music notes under it? I noticed that one and thought maybe that was it.
The caution signal outside Oulton Broad North station, and the subsequent danger signal (beside the opposite running line) do apply to your train. If you approach the danger signal slowly it will clear, allowing you into the station section.

I record the external drive by views on a previous run through the route - I tend to choose easy to find landmarks, so I can edit them into the video in post production.

Wait, so when the speed limit sign looks like a fraction, the lower speed is for locomotives? I thought it was just freight trains
It surprises me that two 68s would be used with only 3 coaches. You'd think one would do the job, unless it's just a question of not having a cab car or not wanting to move the locomotive around at a terminus. I guess there's not a turntable there either. 🤔
They have one at each end because when it arrives at Norwich it will go back to either lowestoft or Great Yarmouth. Norwich does not have run round sidings.
Is this default or RW Enhancer graphics? looking nice...
The only enhancement in use here is the AP Weather and Sky Pack, I'm not currently using RW Enhancer.
Can you do a tutorial on how to install Armstrong Powerhouse enhancement packs?

@@ollie7373 I looked up all individual prices of all the requirements and it added up to around £110
@@thereisnobean8537 You only need the Scotrail Class 68 pack off steam. Which is 11.99 but can be reduced in the sale (there is meant to be one at the end of this week) for about 5 pounds.
