I looked up what the acronym for STRYPER is: salvation through redemption yielding, peace, encouragement, and righteousness. I think these guys need to read the Bible a little more, salvation is through faith in the gospel (first Corinthians 15:1-4), The end result is redemption, but it’s not through redemption.

These are hints as to who they support, or worship. As for your confusion regarding Abraham's bosom, the soul will go to one of two places. For the Christian, the soul PRE-JESUS went to Abraham's bosom (or holding place, also called Paradise); remembering that when JESUS was Crucified, and buried, HE was gone and came back "setting the captives free". And POST-JESUS, the soul enters Heaven. As the word says...to be absent from the body, present with the LORD! SHEOL is HELL, and that's where the unrepentant and unbeliever goes as their holding place, until the Great White Throne Judgment occurs, and then they will be sent to the Lake of Fire.
