We used to fly in these all the time. They were really reliable and strong. The views in this vlog are awesome. What a cool job.

My Dad was a captain on the DC3, DC4 and the DC6...Love the video here...Would love to take another trip on one of those planes again someday!! Love the sound of the engines!!

My very first commercial plane ride was in an Aeronoves De Mexico DC-4 from New York to Mexico City with plenty of stops. I was only 5 but actually remember it well. Great plane !!
Hi jetfreak4 ...THX for the kind words. I was planning to fly with the HFF DC-7B this year (June), but the flight never happened, so mayby next year...? So if you are in the Miami area...check with the HFF at Opa Locka.
Great video. If I'm correct this aircraft served w/American Airlines after WW2, & was at one time named "Tasmanian Tiger". Keep'em flying !!
I flew with this captain back in the day when I was a young apprentice. Didn't work on this particular bird though.
Please tell me you are going to fly a DC-7 soon. Your videos are giving me opportunities to go back to an era well before I was born. By the time I was born, these planes had been rare for almost 20 years.
god, I love radial engines.....Pratt & Whitney R-2000 Twin Wasps
Like the videos, wonderful plane as well.
I salute you, mprophet100. We all love the swinging sound of P & W radials. 170 knots--we are all with you on your flights. You are the leading uploader of the hall of fame props.
Any C-97 or C-124 vids?
That engine start must’ve been pretty loud
You're a lucky man, Michael!
This is real flying. The jet lovers can shove it
