If you notice for a split second when Obi-Wan told him don't try it, you can see the pain in Anakin's face or his eye twitch showing he just snapped and also he felt great emotion because he was tired of people holding him back and telling him what to do also.
I can totally relate to Anakin and his frustration.
Always gets me every time when Dooku gets his hands cut off...

If we go by the Vader comics since he was able to force choke Sidious immediately after he was in the suit, Knightfall Anakin must have been really strong only for Vader to become stronger
No,because Sidious wasnt actively centered,he didnt expect Vader to use the Force on him which is why his force barrier was weaker there.
He was, at that point, a bit more powerful than Count Dooku, which is immensely powerful and meant only Yoda was superior, and as it turned out, Obi-Wan could hope to stand against him. At this point even Sidious would have cause to fear him, though in a duel Knightfall Vader is less of a threat to Sidious than Dooku had been simply because Vader didn't have the Force knowledge that Dooku had yet. But in a straight saber duel Sidious would have his work cut out for him.

Anakin had a Hybrid or rather a Chimeratic technique, because he was trained as a user of Form IV, Obi-Wan and that mobility and jumping type was present at he moved to the Form V, and during his time during the Constant duel with Count Dooku, he aided some sequences or postures of Form II, and the usage of ferocity of Form VII juuyo
Imagine in the fight a scene where they blade lock each other and obi wan turns his blade towards Anakin coming close to his face then he gets enraged and unleashed his first and only force lightning attack on obi wan
Nightfall Anakin was lord by the darkness then it took everything away. As Yoda once said. Anger leads hate. Hate leafs pain. Then pain leads to suffer......and so he did.

@@RetneysHolocron Still ,we do have the ROTS novel which doesnt mention force lightning,and the ability was in the game to make it more fun,in my opinion we shouldnt consider the game.

Yeah but if you look at nightfall Anakin if he survived and didn't get injured or burned compared to suit Vader ..i believe knightfall vader would have become even stronger over the years compared to suit Vader
