I got a sample of Grand Soir the other day and completely agree with your comments!! I was expecting more with regards to sweetness. I thought it would be a more jammy, thick and syrupy Amber with more sexiness?? Don’t get me wrong, it’s obviously so well made and elegant etc, but I was shocked how masculine it was, especially after all the hype!! Also, if you haven’t tried BDK’s Creme De Cuir, I think you would like it, it’s SO STUNNING!! Anyway, I love your channel, lots of love from Nottingham UK xx

Amouage sunshine just doesn’t remind me of sunshine at all, I wanted to love it but I couldn’t because it really smells like some kind of Chinese medicine I drank when I was a child for 3-4 hours. I just can’t like it for that.
Sunshine woman is on my wish list! Lira is STUNNING and Pas Ce Soir is one that I fell in love with. Grand Soir is one that I enjoy the dry down of but the opening is very masculine so, I let that baby go lol.

From your haul, I own (and love!) Xerjoff Lira and Amouage Sunshine Woman. Lira is my 3rd most loved Xerjoff fragrance, number 1 is Naxos and 2 is Accento Overdose. Xerjoff is my favourite niche house of all times. 😃

But there's something about it that reminded me of him, probably the amber? It's like this strong incense kind of vibe. The dry down was definitely sweeter which I liked but overall not for me :(

Sedbury is the ONLY fragrance that I have tried, and I have tried a lot, that actually made my stomach turn, made me nauseous and gave me a splitting headache. This was shocking to me because there are plenty of fragrances I don't like but I've never had such a physical reaction to one before or since. The tuberose in this is just indolic and overpowering, just the wrong kind for me.
Lune feline gives me misty dark coniferous forest vibes. Lots of green and aromatic but even pine-y, a little smokiness, a bunch of cool spices, and then an interesting creamy vanilla holding it all together. Definitely an interesting and unique composition but I don't think I'll get a full bottle. I enjoy the samples I have periodically but it's more novelty than wearable to me. Grand Soir is definitely super masculine in the opening to me, but what surprised wasn't the masculinity, it was vintage masc vibe. It isn't like a modern woody masc opening, it's like vintage syrupy spices. It did grow on my though bc the dry down is delicious. Totally addictive to me. I'm not reaching for it as much now that it's spring though.

I absolutely love Grand Soir. I've got a 10ml decant that I've been trying to use sparingly until I can save for a full bottle. But I do agree that if you're not a fan of scents that lean masculine, it might not be the best pick

Brioche bread note makes it a sweet, yeasty floral.
I really liked sunshine till the dry down- on my skin it became quite ashey. I can only assume its the tobacco note that turned so dry. I enjoy a wet sweet tobacco, not so much the dry, cigarette smelling tobacco. I was completely bummed.

Second, Demi is not the only female perfume reviewer on UA-cam, I watch many others and to be totally honest I haven’t been subscribed to her channel in months! Assumptions are terrible. All you had to do was ask the simple question of “did you purchase these because of Demi” and my answer would have been no.
