Mine stopped working after a year. It now presses only once when turned on or changed frequency. Then it stops!
Same has happened to the other one too. Not a good quality thing!

Same deal, new battery doesnt fix. Doesn't press after 15 seconds just attempts to cycle when changing frequency but fails to depress far enough to spray the can.

Didnt buy the automatic unit,bought the refills by mistake,can I just use the refills by themselves and just push the nozzle down by hand?

Ahh mine does the same and I came looking for solutions. I guess it's just faulty. I need to return it. It sprays the first time and then the cup even though it has clicked during installation, it comes off! 😢
