Shabriri to me is the most terrifying character in the entire game, that this one man caused an entire clan of people to be rounded up and buried alive over a simple lie, indirectly causing the Golden Order to do exactly what they tried to avoid. Summoning the Flame of Frenzy.
In my head Canon I think that the golden order knew what the flame of frenzy can do and I think that shabriri was trying to stop them but he was slandered as a madman and not only causing his death but also of his people because of their affiliation with the flame of frenzy they were corralled and hunted down, those that were captured were imprisoned below in the depths of leyndell's sewers
Shabriri is the name of a demon in Jewish folklore who is said to cause blindness. His name translates to “dazzling glare” or “breaker of the eyesight”. How fitting.
Have you seen how earths magnetic fields deflect solar flares. It strongly looks like an Eyeball facing the sun. Not to have or install any doubts. But I sometimes wonder if it was gods intention when Sariel Brought the value of death to the heavens.
Shabriri told me Malina would die if I went to the forge of the giants, so I went and found the three fingers. The road to hell is paved with good intentions, as they say.
It's interesting that the Frenzied Flame, which is chaos itself, has the most soothing music. The characters that also advocate for this Flame also start having a soothing and calm voice. However, when you talk to them enough, you hear the chaotic nature slipping. With Hyetta, it slips when she is in in the Bellum Church. With Shabriri, if you finish his dialogue. I would dare to say that even the music lies. It is soothing, but when you see the surrounding of where it is played, it calls for a chaotic end. The song calls for the player to end the suffering... End it by destroying everything... End it with the Frenzied Flame.
In some cut dialogue its revealed that St. Trina (aka Miquellas alter ego), taught it to the Merchant's in their restless dreams to help soothe their frenzied spirits. Certainly explains why the song is so soothing.
it's an incredibly deep contrast in almost every scenario it's played in, and that's the point. It's madness in it's most horrifying form. lorewise it makes sense, but from a storytelling standpoint it's fantastic, because that contrast between soothing calm music and the pure chaos the frenzied flame brings makes it all the more terrifying. I think there's something in the fact that it has no beginning or end. It's soothing, sure, it's beautiful. But it just keeps going, like a barbershop pole in sheet music. In that regard, it's unsettling. Almost like it's lost what divides and distinguishes...

Absolutely, please make more. I also suggest looking at Kale's cut content and deleted questline. It has some heart-rending and emotional voice acting that is stunning
Despite the frenzied flame’s association with chaos it seems to force order on everything by destroying everything. Nothing is left to do anything or cause any kind of chaos, but with no differences everything would be orderly
I feel like shabriri is not as mad as he's made out to be. It's basically saying that everything was made by design of the higher beings (probably like itself) But as in real life it's not really natural and nature wants "chaos". In our eyes it seems chaotic but in reality it follows it's own rules and has it's own order for things. Shabriri could simply be the voice of a greater one that is trying to return that planet/region to it's natural way of being. And the last resort is to burn everything down so everything can go back to how it was "supposed to be".
On my first playthrough I met shibriri without meeting the other guy. He told me that he was dead and that he took his body. I wasn't actually acquainted with him so I was like ight cool. He then told me it wasnt okay for me to sacrifice a woman so that I would become lord. I killed him and took his drip. Don't tell me how to do business
I love the frenzied flame so much. I always imagined it to be the antithesis of the Grace of Gold. Grace exists to create and divide (men from animals, peasants from kings, etc) while the Frenzied Flame exists to destroy and unite. I imagine that the world exists in a cycle, where the Grace and Flame ebb and flow, resulting in the world being created by Grace, being destroyed by the Flame, and then being created again in and endless cycle, and the proponents of the Flame believe that the world has existed too long. The music is fire too.
Just yesterday I ventured all the way down in Subterranean Shunning-Grounds, and this sad tune, all the suffering of Merchants' tribe... together with Melina's last plea just in front of the gate made me turn the fuck around... and that was literally the last minute choice of mine. Instead I went to kill the most hated man in history... this game is something else entirely.

The destruction and death of everyone and everything?
@@fraserduffy4576 to reset the cycle and return all to one

@@Suffering4Success I don't think it will reset unless greater will do something directly
@@Suffering4Success Nobody knows what will happen after the frenzied flame takes control over the lands between. So we can expect the ending to be eternal and final until we can prove otherwise.
As someone who hasn’t played the game, his voice is so soothing… at first, lol
"The world where only visible things existed, where only concrete things held form, thus came to an end.
All things lost their determined shapes, and the separation between the living and the inanimate was no more. Light, darkness, good, evil - these things held meaning no longer.
You may not believe it...but already you, too...
You are one of Us."

best ending tbh. also coolest eyes
Worst ending because Torrent dies but best ending because Melina lives?

I think you saw it.
The pain and suffering that afflicts this world. It is but a poison, created by ourselves, the humanity.
But god was merciful… and so, the flame of frenzy came to be.
The flame will feed upon our very souls and bodies, and will put an end to this tragedy, once and for all…

You are but a fool, don’t you understand?

Taking “Hard Reset” to a whole new meaning.
Scared the hell out of me the first time I met him and he started ranting like that.
Would people be interested in more videos like this?
Absolutely, please make more. I also suggest looking at Kale's cut content and deleted questline. It has some heart-rending and emotional voice acting that is stunning
Why am i crying in this club right now
I cant believe I fell for this man's shit my first playthrough. I know now following goldmask is the one way.
Despite the frenzied flame’s association with chaos it seems to force order on everything by destroying everything. Nothing is left to do anything or cause any kind of chaos, but with no differences everything would be orderly
The most chaotic thing you can be is orderly, The frenzied flame brings order to Queen Marika age of the Erdtree!
Blood for the blood god.
Skulls for the skull throne
Shabriri deserves his own dlc
I wish he coulda somehow been apart of the dlc in the Abyss area to expand on his lore even more.
I feel like shabriri is not as mad as he's made out to be.
It's basically saying that everything was made by design of the higher beings (probably like itself)
But as in real life it's not really natural and nature wants "chaos".
Wow! 300,000! Thank you to everyone who enjoyed the video!
I am about to become the Lord of Frenzied Flame. May chaos take the world!
May chaos take the world!
MAY CHAOS TAKE THE WORLD 🗣️📢🔥‼️💯🔥📢🗣️🗣️🔥📢💯‼️🗣️
On my first playthrough I met shibriri without meeting the other guy. He told me that he was dead and that he took his body. I wasn't actually acquainted with him so I was like ight cool. He then told me it wasnt okay for me to sacrifice a woman so that I would become lord. I killed him and took his drip. Don't tell me how to do business
I desperately wish Shabriri Vyke was the boss of the forsaken chapel and not fake Mogh what a missed opportunity
Favorite Dialogue in the game.
May chaos take the world, MAY CHAOS TAKE THE WORLD
I really love this legendary npc
Isn’t it implied he led Vyke to get scorned by the frenzied flame?
SCORN
Yeah. And you can see the mark of the 3 fingers on vyke himself when you fight him in the evergaol. Also on his armor i think
May caos take the world! 🔥
Tbh this was the good ending, freeing the people from the erdtree and the cursed royals was necessary
It’s a damn shame kale’s questline got cut at the last minute. Despite that, the frenzy flame is my favorite ending
I’ve been killing shabriri for the drip for so long that I forgot he is an actual npc with a dialogue and not just a snowdude with cool armor
Ahhh, may chaos take the world..
May chaos take the world!
spare…SPAREE THE POOR GIRL
My GF: My dad hates talking politics at dinner
Me when my GF's dad passes me the smashed potatoes:
"I hope you can make your peace with that" lol okay man
terrifying
Just yesterday I ventured all the way down in Subterranean Shunning-Grounds, and this sad tune, all the suffering of Merchants' tribe... together with Melina's last plea just in front of the gate made me turn the fuck around... and that was literally the last minute choice of mine. Instead I went to kill the most hated man in history... this game is something else entirely.
Same, I was thinking about meeting the three fingers but Melinda guilt tripped me hard and turned away.
"Spare...the poor girl. And singe your own flesh in her stead"
Melina didn’t survive because she wanted to
shabriri kept his word, and the girl was spared. true chaos
May chaos take the world 🐶
Ignite the flame, burn everything away, until all is one again...
In the face of political agendas, ideologies and incomprehensible plans of divine beings, Frenzied Flame and its unadulterated desire for annihilation can be surprisingly intimidating.
