You're not going back. Sometimes the tree has no leaves on it. Be patient in all seasons. You ARE moving forward into what glory God has designed for you.
I feel like you I need to become closer to Christ I feel anxious not for me but for my family things are falling apart and I can’t pray I want the peace that passes all understanding 😢🌈
sometimes God has to break you to make things better, you are not alone, I have been through this, and God breaks you to put you on the right path and it can be hard but he’s walking with you, ask him how to use these battles and how to overcome them, ask him what he wants you to learn from this
Ive been homeless many times in my life. I was a foster kid and I started my life homeless. I was 16, pregnant, living in an abandoned building . I ended up homeless again after leaving a domestic violence relationship. Then again when my townhouse complex was bought out by another company. I was homeless with 5 kids at that point. The Mormon Church paid for our hotel- thank God! And today, we live in a Mobile home in the California desert. We have been blessed with stable housing the last 6 years, thank God. But around me are a bunch of homeless people, and I just saw that a cold front is moving in this week across our nation. I currently have just a hundred dollars to my name. And I want to give to the homeless with it, but it's simply not enough. I don't believe any living man or woman, made in the image of God, should be left out in the cold. I actually feel guilty for buying my kids gifts this year when people don't have warmth. And that weighs heavy on my heart. So I just wanted to remind the church of the homeless this season. Our electric company cut power two nights ago for maintenance purposes, and that night was so cold. And all I keep thinking is : We have people out in the cold. It doesn't matter why, the why will not change the fact they will be cold. Please give them blankets, Hot Hands, scarfs, beanies, gloves-- whatever you can to keep them warm. You have so much abundance, you really do. Don't let the people go cold this week. Please

My semon notes for " old roots new fruits" : 1.) God can create stumps in your life, a new fruit will come from an old root. Your roots are are there, there is still life. Do not compare your stumps with someone else's tree. You have hope now in your life but it might not look the way you have expected to be, God does his best work in dead places, three is life in the dead place. See the stumps within, there is hope for your stumps. There is a messiah in the mess of it all, learn to see and value what God sees, God is bringing new life out of dead places 2.) Remember. Remember God's faithfulness in your life, recall the goodness of God 3.) Rejoice. Your joy is your job, don't wait on someone to make you smile or wait for something good to happen to you. Not only look back but look around and see the goodness of God and choose to be glad 4.) Request. Present and make your request known to God, he is the one who will show you the things you don't know, cry out to him, tell him what is on your heart and ask him to show you the way forward 5.) Regard. Do something for someone else, see and value what God sees 6.) Routine. It is time to do the work you have been called to do, keep your routine no matter how you feel or what has been taken from you, do the things of life, keep doing the things that you know you are suppose to do. Life cannot stop just because something got cut off or something didn't turn out the way you thought. Do the things that you know until you see the shoot 7.) Remain. Be planted, draw from the root, look for the shoot
This past year has been hard for me and my stump is when my boyfriend of 6 months dumped me in June. I was praying to God for a godly man to love and share my life with and get married. I haven’t dated anyone in 13 years before that because of a previous bad relationship. Scared to love again and when Patrick came, I thought he was it. God told me to read Ruth and prepare for my Boaz before I met Patrick. Patrick cheated on me in March and I stupidly took him back. Then after a camping trip 3 months later, he dumps me out of nowhere in a text. I cried for a month in my kitchen floor thinking my dream is gone. This helped me see the relationship is dead but not the dream for a husband! There’s life in my stump! Thanks Holly for this word from God!
First of all I would like to say that I've had multiple stumps in my life for being abused as a child, growing up and domestic violence, drinking and drugs, abusive relationships and the list goes on. HOWEVER THOUGH my tree is full of life happiness, peace & joy! My branches are strong and I'm able to help so many other people and guiding them and talking about their stumps and being an example to follow. ❤️❤️❤️

Lord, your word is timeless. It speaks to my now and my future. I'm grateful for being able to hear this on January 11. It's continued confirmation of the work that you are doing to make me more like You. As the tears fall, my heart rejoices and I am open and receptive to the old roots that will lead to new fruit in EVERY area of my life.
I use to have a problem with alcoholism. I thought my purpose was to use that strip to share hope. Maybe God wants me to share that not only can my past experiences help others but showing them what God will do with your stump. Than you Holly!✝️⚔️🛡️🔥

This sermon hit me right in the heart. The last few days have been rough. I woke up discouraged full of disappointment and uncertain of what God was doing and why he let this happen. I've prayed and prayed over this and haven't seen the results I was asking for. Now I know why. My heart is heavy. But I know that I can trust what He is doing. Thank you Lord for using Pastor Holly to speak to my heart this morning. Please help me to keep up pushing, keep fighting and believing that no matter how I feel right now you are at work.
I've been in bed mostly for ten years. I asked God to heal me. He said "getting sick IS your healing" I don't know how I knew it was Him. That was actually something someone else said that her mom said about getting sick....but God has NO trouble getting His point across, I mean, right? I've learned so much from this hard journey of being interrupted. I'm so quietly cheerful and loving and hopeful about my life. I wanna say that by me sharing about my truths aka stumps and when I'm struggling and how I've overcome and how much that I have grown, I have helped so many people! When people come to my page number one they see a person who has recovered from drugs and alcohol, a strong woman who is living with mental health issues, a woman who is happy and has peace and joy, a mother who has struggling with two children with disabilities, and so much more. I've even shared about my daily struggles and I have had women get in my inbox and explain to me how I have helped them to come out of their shows or ask for help or I have given them hope. I've had women come to me and ask me what am I doing how am I happy today, I had one girl who is an atheist and now she's a Christian.. so I don't think there's anything wrong with sharing about your struggles and your traumas and things that you have gone through.. AGAIN MAYBE I MISUNDERSTOOD WHAT HOLLY WAS SAYING, BUT THAT THREW ME OFF A LITTLE BIT.. Maybe she is talking about just plain out drama, light consistently talking about all the bad things that are happening in your life day in and day out, or always looking for sympathy and throwing yourself a pity party.. or talking about baby daddy did this baby daddy did that, so and so cheated on so and so maybe that's what she's talking about... And I hope so because sharing my story has helped so many women..

HOLLY you brought so much life to this sermon.. unfortunately I missed it yesterday but caught it this morning.. thank god. Elevation Church has been playing a huge role in my transformation, trusting and healing process that is helping me not only see more clearly but breaking major ancestral chains. What I once thought was dead and couldn't be healed due to how deeply rooted it goes back, is not dead yet. It's actually been resurrected thru and with unconditional love and I just had to accept it with grace & trust in my heart.. when you stop trying to control God's will and his plan for you and you open yourself up with grace, trust and uncondional love is when the true healing can begin. I finally see that now. 🥰... thank you again Holly. I know the work of spreading God's word and planting seeds is very rewarding but can also be draining at times to one's soul, so again thank you from my heart and soul ❤

When people come to my page number one they see a person who has recovered from drugs and alcohol, a strong woman who is living with mental health issues, a woman who is happy and has peace and joy, a mother who has struggling with two children with disabilities, and so much more. I've even shared about my daily struggles and I have had women get in my inbox and explain to me how I have helped them to come out of their shows or ask for help or I have given them hope. I've had women come to me and ask me what am I doing how am I happy today, I had one girl who is an atheist and now she's a Christian.. so I don't think there's anything wrong with sharing about your struggles and your traumas and things that you have gone through.. AGAIN MAYBE I MISUNDERSTOOD WHAT HOLLY WAS SAYING, BUT THAT THREW ME OFF A LITTLE BIT..
Maybe she is talking about just plain out drama, light consistently talking about all the bad things that are happening in your life day in and day out, or always looking for sympathy and throwing yourself a pity party.. or talking about baby daddy did this baby daddy did that, so and so cheated on so and so maybe that's what she's talking about... And I hope so because sharing my story has helped so many women..

HOLLY you brought so much life to this sermon.. unfortunately I missed it yesterday but caught it this morning.. thank god. Elevation Church has been playing a huge role in my transformation, trusting and healing process that is helping me not only see more clearly but breaking major ancestral chains. What I once thought was dead and couldn't be healed due to how deeply rooted it goes back, is not dead yet. It's actually been resurrected thru and with unconditional love and I just had to accept it with grace & trust in my heart.. when you stop trying to control God's will and his plan for you and you open yourself up with grace, trust and uncondional love is when the true healing can begin. I finally see that now. 🥰... thank you again Holly. I know the work of spreading God's word and planting seeds is very rewarding but can also be draining at times to one's soul, so again thank you from my heart and soul ❤
