beautiful sign. been trying power carving . not as good as you but i am getting the hang of it. Eric i am so hooked on it . always great watching you and Ryan . always something to learn .
Every time I think you can't top your last project you surprise me! This turned out so awesome and really does have the look of driftwood. It is such a different type of sign from what you usually make so very fun to watch your creativity. Great job!!!!!!!!
Wow .... that is awesome and great techniques used. I've used the wire wheel idea making live edge look on signs before but this adds a lot to that Idea. Thanks again !!
New sub here. Love yalls videos and work. I just bought a router and have a scroll saw and am going to try my hand at making some signs. Very inspiring stuff. Thank you
Looks like another great one. I think the only thing I'd do differently is to paint the background of the letters black so it pops more. Might stain it too, not sure there.
Ive started put making signs because of you guys!! Ive fallen in love with it. Im going to start a buisness carving hand made wooden Signes. I live your work and your channel. Your work is incredible guys!
@@oldave100 thanks so much. I didn't think you would have replied. I appreciate you took your time out to reply. Yes I will for sure reach out for any advice with anything in regards to sign making. I've had a realy rough time the past year and found that carving signs has been such a blessing to clear my head. That's all down to you guys. Love watching your videos each week and taking on board all your tips and tricks. I hope to be able to get the funds at some point and do the course you supply on your website. Take care of yourself and hopfuly speak in the future.
Have you ever used Weathered wood stain accelerator by Varathane? I've used it to give some fence boards that old look for a farm sign before. It was the grey-ish tint. That's a big (well done as usual) sign but it would have gave it that drift wood color. Maybe a semi or flat top coat.
The only thing missing is some stain on the 0 Bryans Oasis. The name of the place needed to stand out more not blend in! Other than that really nice sign Eric 👍👍👍😎🇨🇱🇺🇸
I have started my own Handmade sign company in the Highlands of Scotland and that is because of you guys and your amazing videos. Thank you.
Dude!! That's awesome!! Let us know if there's anything we can do to help👍👍
I will do. Thank you so much.
What kind of wood do have to make signs with? If I ever come to
Scotland I will definitely look you up.
I use Pine as is softwood and easy to work with. Sounds good. I've only just started but we are called 'Loch Ness Signs'
Hey man! Good luck!

So cool! Now you guys have me thinking of trying a "glue-up" lol... I wish I had more time to work on signs. Thanks again guys for a great video.
When you get a chance, you should definitely give it a shot! It's a little intimidating at first, but it really opens it up for creativity

Thanks John! We were considering staining it, but decided to go with the natural redwood. A stain would look good as well.
Wow ❤
Thanks Ade!

We've never tried that before. I just made a note to give it a shot. Thanks buddy!
@@oldave100 Great. It's a hit and miss on some wood species. I've used it on pine and got what I wanted.
Looks great. Question--Is there a reason you are not using Total Boat Halcion (sp) on your outdoor signs?
We really don't care for it. There's just better options out there, in our opinion.
Thanks. One more..oil or water based?@@oldave100
