Doubt that'll keep some people from whining about it though lol Thing got a heavy damage nerf, and can still yoink at 100 meters. Next thing they'll focus on another nerf is range reduction.
@@enigmatvarence4319 I mean it shouldn't be in the game at all. You can still kill people you arm shot at 15m with it and if you hit a torsho shot at 90m and they take 1 tick of bleed blademancer will kill them. People basically always take 1 tick because they can't just hold "F" instantly and slow walk into cover... steel bolts has made the crossbow very OP now. I think it's easily better than a nitro. The reality is even without blademancer bows/crossbows were buffed way too much for 1896. I am regularly 1 tapping people at 35m with steel bolts and having them 1 tick bleed at like 40m. The fact that both can 1 tap to legs/arms under 7m is insane. Shotguns pen nerf made bows already competitive before giving them extremely generous 1taps.
@@ramsaybolton9151 It deals 14 damage on torso pull out. If you got berserk, it does 28 damage. This only applies on ONLY torso shots. Any where else, the damage is reduced. It's already difficult to get a long shot with a crossbow at 90m, regardless of steel bolts. Also, it loses a shit ton of damage after 10 or 20m, going from 200+ to around 90 damage at 90m. I've tested it a few hours ago at the shooting range, and even with the pull out damage, the dummy still took a moment to die from bleedout. Honestly. I don't see the problem with blademancer other than before hand, if you got a hit, it was a guaranteed kill 95% of the time. Not so much anymore. If anything, it's a nice perk to have to retrieve throwables, since pull out damage is so weak. Also to say Crossbows are buffed way too much is kinda funny, since majority of the time, I've seen bows being used way more than a crossbow, and since Hand crossies got revive bolts, they became rather relevant too. As for the steel crossbow bolts, I don't exactly see the problem with them either, other than it costs extra coin to get upgraded bolts.
@hYdrantoxide probably, which is fine by me. But in classic Crytek fashion, instead of nerfing the pullout damage only for the trait, they nerf it in general, so now running up to someone and manually pulling a throwable is not rewarded but punished, which just highlights how clueless their balancing team is. Pity.
@silicon-shaman I'm gonna be honest I don't care about pullout damage getting nerfed for both. I was never gonna use it anyway so if this is how it has to be so be it.
@@hYdrantoxide I get it, but many people enjoyed that aspect of playing a (cross)bow. REXNOR is a good example. And in general it's just a fun, challenging way to kill someone. They didn't have to nerf it into the ground in order to nerf Blademancer, but that's how Crytek balances. Oh well.
Crazy, if you think about that the devs still are "balancing" based on hd price. They fucked the game so hard that you could just get rid of hd and it would change nothing.
Didnt Rex do this same thing recently? Shame they nerfed blademancer tbh, I dont think it was as bad as everone said and it was a fun alternate playstyle.
Did you not just watch the same video as the rest of us, you can just spray arrows and not worry about running out, pretty much if you tag anyone they’re dead because you can pull the arrow out at any distance
How does less economy impact reduce pvp? If anything, being able to run more expensive loadouts promotes player carelessness because it's easier to get your loadout back. I don't think economy changes how we play THAT much. If I run low on funds, I simply run cheaper loadouts, I still play aggressive because I can steal more expensive loadouts.
@ Many ratty players take the event money and scram instead of playing the game. Especially on a map with funneling terrain like Mammon or Stillwater, 4 teams of 3 already lead to a lot of boring uneventful matches outside of events. Too much loot pulling players in different directions. Even if teams would eventually end up at the bounty, they dilly dally all over the map stocking up on loot and equipment, letting the bounty walk away because of their lazy greed. With additional event objectives I often see entire lobbies where you're lucky if you get to fight one team.
I would love to see an economy reset every yearly quarter. Everyone back to 4000 with a market cap of 40k. We would see some more variety in loadouts now that everyone is forced in the 6 star lobbies
@@russellbaker7579 I don't use the dolch p or the mosin, thanks. You wanting an economy reset betrays your 3 star rank though. Compact ammo rifles can beat long ammo if you aren't a useless shot, and their better firerate makes them better for people who can actually aim. In short, git gud loser.
