I find Star Wars really pleasing to the eye. They have so many beautiful and colorful shots I love to edit with. I don't think this trilogy lived up to anyone's expectations and Rey isn't loved by many but I still wanted to do a last tribute to Star Wars for now.

I’m so happy to be part of the Rey fans. I know a lot of people don’t like her character, but that just makes her more special to me I guess. It’s fun to love a character that many people don’t really like cause I can build my own connection and it feels more personal. Fantastic job!!! 💜💜💜

I love her as a character 2! If people can connect with her I'm sure many would understand her better. She was abandoned, rejected, and forced to live life by herself. She even had to learn self defense for her sake. After realizing she was called by the force to be a Jedi and learn her past, her grandfather hated her and Luke realizing his wrongs helped Rey not be afraid of herself. That's why I'm happy she renounced her Palpatine lineage to be a Skywalker, because Luke and Leia never judged her and loved her as their own
Luke’s my favorite character, but Rey is definitely Top 3 for me!

What is wrong with you all? She has nearly no character development and is able to defeat a well trained Fighter who was the best in his class, on her first fight.

Out of all the SW characters, this is one character I've invested in _so_ much. From attire, plush, collectibles, legos, etc. I have a lot of Rey stuff. Daisy Ridley played her well and her story in the sequels is amazing! From being unknown, to be discarded by her parents, yet to find out they were protecting her from Sidious was elaborate and neat. Though a little jumbled, it's still fantastic.

What a fantastic edit it is.... Rey's character will always remain one of my absolute favourites if not the most beloved. Powerful, pure and genuine performance of beautiful, kind human soul that Daisy Ridley is. Truly mesmerising.

Rey Skywalker is a great character, no matter what all the haters say.
Beautiful! I grew up with Carrie Fisher's Leia. She guided me through my childhood into my teen years and on into adulthood. I don't have children of my own, but I would hope that if I had a daughter, she would idolize Rey they way I do Leia. She is a worthy successor.

It's so cute...
This did my heart good to see after how completely episodes 8 and 9 shat on her character. She was set up to be so much more and this video helped me forget how badly they dropped the ball on that. I even felt myself getting on board with the Reylo stuff because there was proper setup and chemistry in this edit. It's amazing to see what a difference a good editor can make when they don't have a meddling studio breathing down their neck.

@@QwuithLordDartox I believe it was planned! I remember reading that a Lucasfilm worker said Palpatine and Rey being a Skywalker was planned in 2014. Lucasfilm just didn't use him until episode 9, and the movie looked like a fan service film. I personally like TROS tho, and I can't wait 2 see more of Rey, if she'd ever return. I love Daisy Ridley's performance as her

This is so beautiful.. perfect editing. May I ask how you get the voices without the film background noise/music..? For example when she says it's calling me, in the movie there is loud crashing noise in the background
Thanks ! I download music with 5 audio channels and only keep the one with voices. Although for that particular sentence, I do think I used Adobe Audition since the noise was still there on the voice only audio.
