Ran into this video after speaking with you in a previous video and me asking you about using a pool for whelping. Your response is your not a fan of using the swimming pool because dog can get out. Ok understandable. But what if I put the pool inside a baby playpen with a open close door ? Do you think i will run into trouble with mama trying to jump out/over the playpen or at the whelping stage mama doesnt want to jump?
Use a Wire X-Pen around the pool - that's what I do. It works wonderfully. You can put two X-Pens together and she will have a place to jump out of the pool onto a pee Pee Pad and to stretch out without bothering the puppies.
I love the flexibility you help others with.... Mmmm 🤔 question!!! So here my problem 🤔 I haven't figure out how to keep my female on the cleaner side of things... I have try pee pads with grids on top.. but needless to say she step into the poo.. it works for keeping her out of her laying in her pee...oh did mention I also have a porch potty for her (in her play pen area)....she used it when she feels like it... Sometimes yes sometimes no... I had her since a she was a puppy.. and try my hardest to train her to the pellet sytem..or pee pads.. I'm need some guidance in this area! ( What do you use) to keep your kennel clean! Bedding, solution, ect.. things the that!! Maybe suggest some products that you use or offer on a next video dedicated to this specific area! So I use that too but now I have also used a dog pillow that I get at rural King for about 40 bucks it's got pockets on the side of it I guess not pockets I guess I got like a tube or a whole right so then when Mama is sleeping and she sits on a pup or something like that there's a cushion right or the puppy can fall into the tube are the channel I guess that's what we would say all around it it's done a lot of things it's kept the puppies warm I've never I have not gone wood not lost a puppy yet makes their chest well-rounded so you don't get the flat chest and it's reusable so I buy three or four for the first week they stay with the same one and then after that once a week they get changed out and they're with those pillows until they're almost about 5 weeks old course I'm changing them out daily as they get older because they're pooping peeing on them but I get it working for like 40 bucks by three of them by one at a time but you know by the time puppies are 4 weeks old you should have three and they work wonders man
James I expect better from you you guys are selling $30,000 pups and you're telling people how to make a whelping system out of a $3 Kitty pool you should be ashamed. Puttng that foam around the outside won't protect the pups one bit when it's angled the pups will get still get squished by Mom. They need to be stood off at least a couple inches and you know that. Should be coaching people to invest in their program and quality products not seeing how cheap they can be is emboldening all these backyard breeders out there. He'll tell them to feed them Old Roy that's good enough too

You should have a pig rail. It works great without one until it doesn’t. Then it’s too late.
I use a panel fence around a foldable pool off Amazon.

I use a 42x28 wire crate with out whelping system. Works beautifully
