Not a massive fan of corsa’s, but this is impressive, can see this lad is passionate, fair play to ya!
I rarely think modified cars are done well but this is an exception, it is superb.

I'm not a corsa but you have to admire the hard work gone into this build especially considering it's a 1.4 not a vxr
Saw this when I was at wayside performance true credit to the owner and wayside for the amount of hard work that went into it

Got the same turbo lag on my 1.4 golf tsi 160hp and i really love it too.
And for the turbo lagg he could do a couple of things that would make a lot of difference
IE … the turbo being closer to the engine,
Obviously that’s not always an option, but this guy has clearly put a few quid in to he’s car .

I traded my vrs in for new vxr in 08, was so disappointed with performance I modded it to 330hp, and engine went POP, should have Forged it 😭

@@thebomber5028 to be fair I run it on v power, always warmed up cooled down, I sold it to a ladd who put crap fuel in and arseholed it from cold that's when it popped

It’s a shame Vauxhall has such a bad reputation, their hatch back styling has remained so good over the last 20 odd years. Most brands really lost their styling after 2012 or so. They’re solid platforms for power, but I could never put so much money into the same car some 18 year old is going to catch a court case in McDonald’s car park.

Completely agree, the stigma behind them is horrendous but the d vxr is still one of the best looking hatchbacks on the market today.

I love this, I hate cars with turbos that work I know I'll explain😂😂so I find there's nothing better than a shitbox with a huge single turbo and I don't want that kicking in straight away, I'm a turbo lag addict I want a car that a can drive at 4k rpm and as soon as I hit 5krpm just tremendous power come in, wheels spinnin, turbos whistling and engine screaming

where would I go to get my corsa upgraded ? I can only find places that offer upgrades/stages for VXR or turbo corsas but mines only standard :(
The same engine or some other? I've got the dbilas dynamic k04 turbo (from Astra H OPC) upgrade for the 1.4T on mine. It's lovely.

The 1.4 isn’t built to handle anything near that power forged or not. Will be fun till it blow up
BE come with uprated pistons and a stronger block if im not mistaken, they will handle 200hp with a map decat and clucth stock. over 200 will be forged like he has here

Why would you ever consider putting 300bhp+ into a FWD setup? Even the best traction control / stability assist / launch control setup will never overcome that sheer lack of traction.
