I liked Cervantes’s dual rapiers in Soul Blade, I don’t remember what they were called but they looked awesome, although their stats sucked. Seems like the stats don’t matter in this game anymore though and I’m completely ok with that.
@Ming Leong Seems like we got plenty of space to work with, I mean it shouldn't be too hard to port over weapon designs so.long as they function correctly, though PC players got it easy since they can mod the Hell out of Past Weapons and have them be weapons 😢

Could you do a tutorial on how SCVI Siegfried works? I’m only good with Siegfried in SoulCalibur 3 and 4. I’m not good with the controls on 6, pressing random buttons doesn’t seem to help either Edit: no. This isn’t a skill issue. I’m good at this series, not in a competitive level, it’s the fact my main’s controls were redone in 6 to the point I have to relearn everything

I do have this game on PS5 now but still no laptop/computer and no clue how to fully use its recording yet.

I HOPE there's DLC that will come out for both swords in all styles, & MAYBE even the option to change the design of it to the earlier game versions. Just want to be able to use it overall.
Siegfried didn't wield the Soul Calibur by this game's timeline. And Cervantes lost the Soul Edge to Nightmare upon his (accidental) revival, hence his quest to reclaim it for himself. Because if Cervantes were to wield the Soul Edge when this game's story began, it's as if Soulcalibur (1998, story set in 1587) never happened.
I did do it for the characters individually in their showcase videos. If I were to do them in one big video, I’m gonna wait for all of the DLC characters to be released.
It would still be cool to at least have the option to fight barehanded, especially if it was handled the same way Soul Blade did, the guard-break system in that game made fighting more intense, and actually made dodging a more optimal solution to avoiding attacks as opposed to just holding your sword up while your opponent wails on it. And I know that SCIV and SCV came up with some solutions to counteract that entire thing, but let’s face it, SCIV was good for the time and people only play SCV for the customization system if they don’t have this. Which I don’t but I am hoping that it comes out for the Nintendo Switch. If it doesn’t, then I suppose I’ll settle for an Xbox One or PS4.
Huge thanks for this vid. But I gotta say, it's 2018 and Fighting games are usually benchmarks for graphics. And 2017 For Honor has better weapon models and textures.
Most of the weapons are ugly as fuck, the details are the same as the previous generations, the only upgrade is materials and lighting, not textures or models, they even removed a lot of models from previous games

Do you get all the customization armors at the start or do you nay get some of them and have to unlock the others?

Unlock them all, DLC or not. Only the generic ones are available off the bat.

Neither. The Chained Sickles and Chained Kozuka can be wielded normally, but you need a professional for you to be able to handle it properly.
