- Here we have a Rowenta made pedestal remote controlled 16 inch fan. As the name suggests it's more expensive than any other non-branded fans. The quality is robust and well made. All functionalities are available through the remote control provided. It comes in black or white. It has 8 hours timer, 5 speeds, natural and decrease modes. It advertised as most silent where it might be more quite than other fans but beyond second speed it's definitely not quite at all. If you can find it at reduced price go ahead and purchase it otherwise there are similar items at one third of the price. Enjoy.

Electrical motors buzz, you never hear that on a fan because the air noise is louder than the fan (for this one already at level2)
This one has such a low setting you can hear the motor humming. Noise dampening is impossible since motor is air cooled.
I appreciate more gentle speed settings because for the fans I had min speed is somwhere around or below 3 and they are louder than this one while moving less air.
I usually found myself using circulation to reduce air blowing at me with this one I can have constant airflow at lower rate.
Decrescendo mode is a nice convenience because that's what I'd do always manually, you feel hot you want more air but then after a while its too much, and damn it's good not having to switch it around yourself.
