I'm seriously pissed off at Capitol records. They put out a single that cut out more than half of the solo. I'm 75 and didn't buy the album and never heard this solo until 2022. I've probably listened to it 100 times this week, virtually every UA-cam video of the Knack just so I can hear this solo. I even know to advance to the three minute mark when it starts. Now I see your version of it and I have to say fantastic job! I figure Berton Averre played it 10,000 times and of course could play it in his sleep while you had to learn it and then had the nerve to put it out there for people to see. Superb! Thank you so much for posting a video where I could really watch the technique. I think I'm done with My Sharona now 😂.

Mind blowing. I've seen plenty of guys who can play the fast stuff but you absolutely nailed the vibrato and bending, which is hard to do what makes this solo so great. Hats off, monster performance. Your vibrato is as good as I've seen and heard on one of these videos. Best version on you tube.
