Abu Darda reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, **“Whoever travels a path in search of knowledge, Allah will make him traverse a path to Paradise. Verily, the angels lower their wings in pleasure for the seeker of knowledge. The inhabitants of the heavens and earth, even the fish in the depths of the water, seek forgiveness for the scholar. The virtue of the scholar over the worshiper is like the superiority of the moon over the stars. Verily, the scholars are the inheritors of the Prophets. The Prophets do not leave behind gold or silver coins, but rather they only leave behind knowledge. Whoever takes it has taken hold of an abundant fortune.”**

Ibn Rajab explains this hadith... and ibn Hajr copied his book name Fathul Bari.

Ali ibn Abi Talib poem (source?) said all of the people are the same as we are from Adam, despite color or nationality, you are boasting being from a certain portion of dust, if you want honor it's from knowledge.
Why were angels told to prostrate to Adam, a sign was Adam knew the names they didn't! though the angels don't disobey Allah.
A person is in position what they can perfect or contribute.
Zuhri said Knowledge is masculine, man is different from a male.
4 types.
1. Scholar.
2. Student of ilm.
3. Listening to a scholar.
4. Loves knowledge and it's ppl.
and avoid the 5th, hating and opposing them...

I think Al madrasatu al umariyah UA-cam channel is the best and most beneficial Islamic English channel out there or at least the ones that I saw and believe me I have seen so many channels big and small. I don't doubt this. I am following the seerah series and they are excellent. Being able to taking knowledge from students of knowledge of haqq(salafiyyah) is a blessing.

Will classes in the knowledge program be taught using a whiteboard or a screen where we can see the text contained within the books? And will the notes given be in Arabic or a mixture of English and Arabic?
I also want to know if the study material is both in Arabic and English? As for the notes, Tim Humble mentioned that they will take the students through everything in English as well.

الناسُ مِن جِهَةِ التِمثالِ اَكفاءُ
أَبوهُمُ آدَمُ وَالأُمُ حَوّاءُ
نَفسٌ كَنَفسٍ وَأَرواحٌ مُشاكَلَةٌ
وَأَعظُمٍ خُلِقَت فيها وَأَعضاءُ
وَإِنَّما أُمَّهاتُ الناسِ أَوعِيَةٌ
مُستَودِعاتٌ وَلِلأَحسابِ آباءُ
فَإِن يَكُن لَهُمُ مِن أَصلِهِم شَرَفٌ
يُفاخِرونَ بِهِ فَالطينُ وَالماءُ
ما الفَضلُ إِلا لِأَهلِ العِلمِ إِنَّهُمُ
عَلى الهُدى لِمَنِ اِستَهدى أَدِلّاءُ

A lot of people don't want to seek knowledge nor practice their deen properly. Because they don't want to straight jacket their life. Listening to music, dressing anyhow you want, chilling out, chasing women an wasting time. We should enjoy life. Islam is too strict. So people want the easy route.
Disobeying Allah is the ultimate straight jacket, if only you understood.
