I think you got the focus rule wrong. When you roll with a focus not every success counts as a critical as you said. When you roll with focus the threshold for a critical success raises from 1 to whatever the Department value is for the roll.
I've got the Captain's Log solo game, and weirdly I'm sure it doesn't feature species traits, which seems unusual, but the character gen rules do seem very similar otherwise.
Thanks for covering Star Trek adventures. Such an amazing game.
I love ALL How to be a Great GM videos!!!! ❤
Very informative, you present it all in a clear and easy to follow way. I'm looking forward to seeing more from STA2.
Not me watching this and getting excited, finding players and then realizing the books aren't out yet XD
This was cool. I don’t know if I’ll get to play any, but definitely STA2-curious now!

🖖 Cool!
Can't wait to see it played!

Traits in CL are noted on page 74.
Wow what creator are u using to make an animated character ?
Where can we get these character sheets? Ive looked all over before and after seeing this video and can't find that style!
Won't be available until the official launch on August 1. Stay tuned. :)
@@scribe_ineti Where can the STA II character sheets be found now? It's well past August 1st :)
@@martingoodson1651 They're in the PDF bundle when you buy the print core book or the PDF core book. :)
@@martingoodson1651 They’re in the download package when you order a print version or the PDFs themselves.
@@scribe_ineti Thank you, but is there somewhere a GM's players could get a sheet?
