Cutting the big oak. Echo CS590 with 24" bar.

I had to make preparations for sawing this large oak. I go over what I did to prepare, how I cut it down and my opinions on the Echo CS590 with a 24" bar. This tree had been waiting for it's chance to make firewood for me. It died a while ago. I cut the down the maple tree next to the dead oak last spring, so it time to cut the oak. All went well!

That tree was huge! It's really cool to see the slow motion shot of it falling and to see how you cut it at an angle so it didn't kick back. Awesome video!

Hey there enjoy your videos love all that oak wood you have in your wood lot. Lucky it's some of the best. Live up north in Maine cut wood also and have as kioti cX 25 great tractors had one like yours its a little work horse for sure. Like your ideas you made that carry all . Really enjoy your videos and the things you fabricated. How do you like your cs 2520 tractor I have the next size up cx, 2510 had a cs 2210 just a Little too small for what I need . But it was good little tractor. I have a mill and need something to haul out logs the cx is a great tractor much heavier about the same power your 25 hp. Made a log whinch from a honor fright 1200lb pull works great . Keep those ideas coming be safe in the woods

I like the CS2520. It is doing everything I wanted it to do. If I had more property, or need to lift heavier loads a bigger tractor would be necessary. Thanks for the comment!
