I’ve had my Predator a few years and bought it used. Intermittent surges, dies under load, hard starting. I cleaned the clogged up carb, delegated the charcoal canister and removed the very clogged spark arrestor screens. It now runs better than ever so much I bought a remote control start and stop for it. It’s now a dream machine.
Nice "how to" .. might come in handy to someone some day! It's like I stumbled upon your channel times ago, when my 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee gearbox had to be removed at home under the open skies and your automatic transmission removal video popped up on UA-cam search where you did the same job with your son Zach .. it helped me a lot .. well at least it gave me a clue of what to expect :)))
Thanks for the video, just bought the 3500 a week ago and has a surging issue out of the box so gonna bring it back and swap it out tomorrow and needed to drain fuel.
You're welcome! Our 3500 ran hard for almost 18 months before giving us any issues. Thankfully we bought the 2 year warranty and exchanged it after this video. Thanks for the comment!
Agreed. I saw "here's the line, nope, here's the other one." Then what? It's just draining on it's own? You're opening it up somewhere? Where? How come you didn't show it? The entire video was about an address and returning it and then when it was time to show the most important part, it was completely skipped. Sigh.

Cool yeah we had the warranty so we used it. Love the Predator though!

Lol yeah that darn thing went through 2 transmissions! Glad it helped a bit! That was back in 2019 I think.
I just found this video to prepare for my own Predator 3500. Saving this vid and thx !

Awesome thanks! Takes forever though. Was hoping this was a video showing how to drain faster! Haha😅
I know right!! Lol
Thanks for the tutorial. My 3500 has left me very frustrated. Gonna bite the bullet and buy a Honda. My 2000 predator has run fairly well, however.
