It’s great to see a live video of this wonderful score, a personal favorite. It’s a pity that this fine work has almost completely disappeared from the concert stage.
C'est magnifique! What a marvelous presentation by conductor, orchestra, and spectacularly by the definitive pianist! Rarely seen or heard anywhere of this masterpiece!
un peu plus de grace de la part de la pianiste n aurait pas fait de mal la prochaine fois rajoutez des casseroles et timbales en cuivre ça ne changera guère
This recording was like watching a soft person play hard. I mean nothing really sounded forced, but it seems obvious to some that she is not comfortable at playing technical passages loud for long.

This is a serenely beautiful and inspired piece. This ensemble has done it justice.

I deeply love this symphony., which stains in my heart
Her piano playing is wonderful
My soul will be warm
What a wonderful interpretation !
Très belle interprétation surtout pour la pianiste, le chef est dirigé ! par cette majestueuse symphonie
magnifique symphonie cévenole ! en l'écoutant je revois mes montagnes ardéchoises !
Una interpretación magnífica!!!!!
The name of the pianist is Ms. Ikuyo Kamiya, not Ms. Ikuyo Kamitani, and the Orchestra is Yomiuri Nippon Symphony Orchestra.
Très belle interprétation!!!!
Yomiuri-Nippon Symphony Orchestra(Japan)
Ikuyo Kamitani, piano
Who is the pianist please? Amazing one has to ask for this.
Can you give us the name of the orchestra, the pianist, and the year this was performed? It looks like this video was recorded back in the 80s.
in spite of the atrocious sound reproduction, it was great to see the intricate and demanding arpeggios required of this (to me) nameless performer.
MY GUESS IT IS A VHS TAPED PERFORMANCE.....

Why in the world don't orchestras program this more often?
