Thanks for the video. This board cleaning was really bothering but information was helpful.
Sorry about that. It was my first video and rewatching it now I can see why it was annoying. I've stopped using that now.
Thank you SO MUCH, this is the best video about the UK education. It really cleared up a lot for me when I was already desperate I'd never find anything comprehensible. Thanks again!

Great explanation for the UK education system
I’m in year 7 lol
Can you give any information regarding how we can prepare our child for grammar school entrance.
Your missing a country! Northern Ireland is part of the United Kingdom. For anyone wondering we are very similar to the English system.
Where does a Special Diploma from Unis fall in this category?
Thank you so much, a helpful video
In my school you start your GCSE in year 9
I was just curious since I’m from the us and the uk system is a little bit confusing
and if someone you have time plz answer this question.
after doing the undergraduate course and getting your bachelor's degree are we able to start a carrier or is the master's degree is needed to start a carrier? the master's degree is optional isnt it
yh its optional, depending on the course ur majoring in
Where is northern Ireland?
I feel like it runs afoul of being a comprehensive explanation from the exclusion of secondary moderns. I'd like to understand more on the topic but it's not easy finding reliable sources beyond Paraskos.
Also it’s 6thForm and College
Hello there,
Thanks for wonderful explanation.
Do you have a video comparing Scotland and England education system please ? Kindly share
I'm from uk and is doing horribly in school :c
I am planning to come to UK for my masters. My daughter is 17 and my son is 16 when September. Can they get schools for free of charge please reply me
technically it is free , everyone collectively pays for it through tax
education is free up to 19
So, we still have a long path i guess!
Shocked to see how your UK doesn't include Northern Ireland!
One thing to note, this is not the Scottish Education System. That is different.
Eh Northern Ireland?
Just thought the same! They do have a habit over in England to forget about Northern Ireland altogether!
Is Reception really compulsory in the UK?
no
Nope
No
Education after 5th birthday only is compulsary
Education is never compulsary. The state does not own your children despite their birth certificate. Have some courage.
bruh, I want to learn to draw like that.
You should rename the title to the English Education System.

Sorry, I couldn't watch it. The hand was making me dizzy. Please update one with the voice over and information only, no hand. Would appreciate it as I am sure it would worth watching.
This is a weird ad lol especially for people in the UK
Hi
poor shaky hands
While I'm pretty sure that your explanation and the way you presented it was spot-on, I can't say for sure as the hand moving across the screen at all times was constantly distracting me and driving me nuts, I'm afraid ... After about 3 minutes of this, I couldn't continue watching. Such a shame!
I could not disagree more with you. To me it helps me feel engaged. Static images would make this feel like a PowerPoint presentation and nobody likes those :)
Also, you may want to consider presenting the vocational route in a less discriminatory/stereotypical way. There are wonderful courses in colleges covering subjects such as media production, computing/ITC, etc. And as a lecturer in the UK, I must say that it's a real pleasure to teach students coming through college/BTEC, they are wonderful and very hard working students. So, please stop being so reductionist in your explanations, that only helps to perpetuate class discrimination!
Ok, seriously now, people nowadays have a problem with this discrimination/racism thing. How on Earth you found this video discriminatory and reductionist? It blows my mind. Sure this video doesn`t cover the vocational route and for good reason. It takes to much times and the purpose of this video is to give a brief look at the educational system. Majority of people will not folow this path simpy because not everyone can be a musician, dancer, etc. You have to excel at these to make a living so maths, english and science are pretty much asked in almost any field. I mean, the video did mention the vocational path, isn`t it?
4:01 five subjects my arse. I'm doing twelve compulsory
how'd the 12 exams go
@@Sweze 7 out of 29 left still 😭
pure shccked by this where is NI my word
привет от амгу
assort
Escape the matrix.
So you have to go to college just to umderstand this education system lol
This video is not fully accurate - children in the UK must be in education until they are 18 years old - not 16 - the system changed several years ago. Education for 16-18 year olds could be in a 6th form school, FE college - vocational now would be T levels, BTECs etc. The AS level qualifications no longer exist as they are no longer funded.
School is for dummies. If you really want your kids to thrive then teach them about money and how our legal system works. You can home school your children how to read, write and do basic maths by yourself the rest is pointless garbage. Teach them to think for themselves too. Common sense only needs a gentle nudge and we all are born with it.
The US should do the 16-18 5th form route. Why are they walking around a school with 13/14 yr Olds
