What's annoying is that Red Bull and Rob already have a winning formula, all UCI needs to do is follow the template, but they're completely disconnected from their fan base. Plus they've completely ignored North and South America, and a huge disservice to the sport. They have young, exciting riders like Jackson to promote, but somehow they're messing it all up.
OK, Red Bull, I don't think you can delay it any longer, Ronnan needs his Red Bull Lid and sponsorship, if he isn't a great ambassador for your brand, don't know who is.

Louise crashes hard at 29:20 right in front of 3 young girls. She then proceeds to get up, get on her bike and nail the biggest jumps on the course. Those three girls will NEVER forget that! Freaking amazing stuff!!!!
Fantastic job from the TV crew! Lots of PTZ cameras, multiple drone sections... So good! This was a very long track with lots of blind spots and you guys covered everything and transmitted all the excitement of the race. This is very hard to do. Congrats on the awesome job.
Great work with the commentary, it was nice to have the perspective from Tahnee having ridden the course, would love to see more commentary from her for sure. Some incredible riding also, great to watch Ronan's speed was amazing, a well deserved win, i dunno about promoting 5 redbulls a run though lol

That one cameraman who loved to zoom into the dirt instead of the rider every time made me laugh. He really loved that corner & wanted us all to appreciate it as much as him.
It wasn’t the tree that made him crash. He was already out of the race by the time the tree came into it. Winning races means staying on your bike. Amazing as goldstone is, he was too far outside the line of control to win.
So smooth from Ronan, looks as quick as Pierron at his best. Hope Jackson is going to be ok for the upcoming season. Amazing racing and superb track, wish they were all like this!

The drone cam looks like 360p. Beyond that, this is pretty nuts. I could be riding today, it’s really nice out. But there will be people enjoying the day and crawling all over the park in my backyard. It can dry out some anyway. I’ve got all spring and summer. Being retired I can hit it on the weekdays. So I’ll do another bong hit and crack another beer and watch this. …maybe in my next like…

Epic event! Was worth the mountain scramble to view the riders haha. Was great having Tahnee on the mic also, was a good mix. Drove 3.5hrs from the course to get home to watch the replay haha

When are redbull gonna up the bitrate on their streams? This blocky mess is shameful in 2024. This is a high speed sport, you cant be putting out this trash its hard to even see whats happening in a lot of sections.
Is it just me or does the footage have abs awful quality? The drones are cool, but looks like youtube anno 2009. Alot of the filming spots are very dark and also grainy. Way better quality in the other Hardline track. I guess the trees and vegetation makes this hard.
The problem is they are relying on remote cams, it's so hard to film live footage when your in the middle of a jungle, I've been with productions doing live content and the amount of resources you need to make it A. Amazing Quality, and B. cost efficient is insane. theres only so much they can and I believe they are doing they best they can, with what they have. But it's also the first year there, maybe next year there will be a better infrastructure to support better quality.

I had premonitions of a Goldstone crash when I was watching his race run preview. It sucks when any rider crashes, hopefully he's okay and is able to use it as a way to eliminate any future ones.
Future ones are inevitable, and it's always the easier sections they crash on ... He was flying though, definitely would've given Dunne a run for his money!

Great presentation! I am a die hard "analog" bike fan but I also own a pedal assist 160mm full suspension E-bike for "rest days". I've been debating getting a suspension fork specific front rack like the Topeak M1 and using it to commute back and forth to work. I do prefer the feel of a traditional bike but I can't deny that the ebike is a blast. I've been able to squeeze 60+ miles with minimal climbing out of the 750wh battery on my Scott Patron so it could definitely be worthy of an overnight bike packing trip.

Was watching Mat Jones ride down track and it looked amazing. But why is the picture quality so bad from redbull. Nice to hear Warner and co again
picture quality is subpar, I'm a little disappointed, also there should be more cameras on the track to avoid pauses, when you can't see the riders
So much better reporting and video tracking of the athletes throughout the track than UCI World Series.
