I’m 22 and a Muay Thai fighter and I just had my second loss in a row a couple weeks ago, and I know my mistakes and it’s all mental. I need to trust myself and my coach. Times have been rough trying to improve and getting back up from another loss, nonetheless I will be the strongest. I was also talking to this girl for about a couple of months and things were going well, like very well. Last night she messaged me that she really liked me and loved the way things were going but realized she doesn’t have any space for anything romantic, which is totally fine and I respect that. It just sucks that things always end up bittersweet. I’m doing my best in looking at this in a positive way for me to better myself, my confidence, and my career as a fighter. I wish her the best too, she was a great person with great goals. Anyway I wanted to say I found this in my recommended last night right after we texted and I think the timing couldn’t have been better. I also had a breakup with a lover this year and a breakup with a friend of 10+ years. I had plans of going to grad school but changed plans after months of prep work. Tried reconnecting with family but it turned sour. I miss my life overseas, I miss family who has passed. I'm staying alive and working hard through tough times because I want to see what comes after. I'm brave. I'm an explorer. I'm going to continue to keep my loved ones close, and do what I want to do. Hi there. I'm a Belgian college student, entering for the ninth time of my life the 1-month-long exam period. From experience, I know it will not be easy. But from the same experience I also know the importance of it and how to overcome it. I approach it with confidence. I gave my strength to all who not knows what their future will be, yet they have to fight to get it. Better days ahead.
I love these mixes but I love the comments just as much. Really moves me to see people opening up about their own battles and hanging in there despite how tough they can be.
If you remember my last comment on one of your videos, this mix really helped give me an extra push today. I’m on Day 6 of quitting marijuana and despite me really feeling like just skipping going out and staying in bed all day today, I’m glad I did the opposite and did my best today. The dreadful anxious and depressing feelings and thoughts weren’t so loud today and I’m feeling a little more present with my family and friends. I hardly notice much of the other withdrawal symptoms as well. It’s funny because I read online that usually the symptoms peak at day 6 but really it feels like they’re finally starting to calm down. The symptoms may be up and down inconsistently, but hopefully it will be more uphill from here.
Of course I remember man, the days are passing and you are healing. I cant wait for one month from now where you can look back and be proud of your achievement and dedication to something important to you. You got this!

I’m on day 24 now and although things are a little easier emotionally, things are still a little complicated physically inside my body such as gas, slight headaches, slight heart palpitations, and insomnia. I was worried something was really wrong with me and with my family’s financial situation I can’t afford to make a doctors visit, but fortunately after finding a reliable Reddit forum r/leaves, filled with people who are also quitting marijuana, these are common symptoms of physical withdrawals and will thankfully subside over time as the body learns to readjust without daily marijuana consumption. So for now I’m just being patient doing what I can a day at a time.

Insomnia, gas, slight headaches , yellow urine every time after I wake up despite mostly drinking water, and a few heart palpitations which are the worst. I was getting really worried and stressed especially knowing I’m not in the best financial situation to make doctors appointments. But I’ve stumbled upon this reliable Reddit forum r/leaves filled with people who are also quitting weed going through the same things I am and it’s reassuring knowing I’m not alone and especially that these nasty withdrawal symptoms will subside over time which I have my fingers crossed on and have been patient as much as I can one day at a time.

So my girl best friend has had a boyfriend for the past 2 years and they recently broke up, I have had a crush on her since 3 years, should I try making my move? For context for the past year we have been doing a lot of things 1 on 1 together, like shopping and eating out, etc, so I would like to take the next step, but I do not want to ruin the trust we built up. I know on the outside that may seem like a perfect chance to make a move, but what will show care and kindness is if you are there for her without showing that you have an ulterior motive. I think if things are meant to be, with time, it will become clearer. It would show through your character if you hopped straight toward expressing your emotion toward her while she is still processing things. I wholeheartedly believe it would be best to give it time and show that you care by sharing space with her and affirming your support to her when needed. I hope that makes sense. Be genuine, and be you. That is all I feel she would ask for.

So little update, we are still in this best friend state, but our dynamic is shifting a bit, due to us hanging out at my place. We baked muffins for our class and had a great time and as they were in the oven we just hung out with my pets and I showed her around the house. So going on with the development, when we were at my place, the dynamic shifted into a more couple like occasion, even though we are not dating, and it was quite interesting for the two of us, I think in future occasion we will continue to walk this path and may even end up exploring what we truly want from each other. Hey guys, I just wanted to ask yall for some advice or on opinion on a situation I am in rn.
We are both 17, go into the same class and she is my girl bsf.
So my girl best friend has had a boyfriend for the past 2 years and they recently broke up, I have had a crush on her since 3 years, should I try making my move?
For context for the past year we have been doing a lot of things 1 on 1 together, like shopping and eating out, etc, so I would like to take the next step, but I do not want to ruin the trust we built up.
I am not sure what I should do, cause I really like her and she knows that i do (haven't confessed tho) but she never outright rejected me, or told me I had no chance, is that because its an awkward thing to bring up? She has told other friends that there would never be something between them, so should i go for it.

Hey Nosh, I hope you are doing well today. I appreciate you speaking on whats been through your mind recently. I have to say, first things first - put yourself in her shoes. She _just_ got out of a relationship thats been happening for over 2 years. I could imagine that she is still feeling the effects of something ending. I know on the outside that may seem like a perfect chance to make a move, but what will show care and kindness is if you are there for her without showing that you have an ulterior motive.
I think if things are meant to be, with time, it will become clearer. It would show through your character if you hopped straight toward expressing your emotion toward her while she is still processing things. I wholeheartedly believe it would be best to give it time and show that you care by sharing space with her and affirming your support to her when needed. I hope that makes sense. Be genuine, and be you. That is all I feel she would ask for.

I have spoken to some friends and they told me the same thing as you did. Because you are someone who doesn't know me or her and has an objective view on things, it makes it clear that it would make the most sense if I waited and appreciate her spending time with me. I do want to be with her and help her go through rough times, if she asks for support I'll be there, but generally I'll be the same as always. And maybe one day, she'll even make a move towards me... yeah that would be great! I do hope she does not only see me as a best friend, but even if she does I will respect her decision.

So little update, we are still in this best friend state, but our dynamic is shifting a bit, due to us hanging out at my place. We baked muffins for our class and had a great time and as they were in the oven we just hung out with my pets and I showed her around the house. So going on with the development, when we were at my place, the dynamic shifted into a more couple like occasion, even though we are not dating, and it was quite interesting for the two of us, I think in future occasion we will continue to walk this path and may even end up exploring what we truly want from each other. As always thanks for reading this and giving such a humble opinion to my situation!
