That ceiling is a real show stopper. I can only imagine what it's like when it's glowing.

I wish I could capture it on camera, but the light is too subtle and my camera isn't sensitive enough! 😏

I love peel and stick wallpaper but I have to say even putting out walls is extremely difficult. I can’t believe you manage to put it on the ceiling! I needed help with my walls and I DIY quite often. Incredible job it looks beautiful🥰

I have a step-ladder that comes apart into two sections. There's a special platform that fits between the two ladders, and fixes sturdily. it is, in effect, a little bit of scaffolding. It would've been so helpful doing this job. You could work one whole width of the room being able to reach to both ends, while standing on something firm. However, you managed it in the end. Not a simple job this one, but something that can go down in family history for sure.

I think I might need to get one of those if I ever do something similar.

Even a second ladder would have been helpful. And you can install a painters plank between two ladders. A second ladder is also helpful in December for decorating a (large) tree.

Totally impressed! As always, great work. Safety suggestion for future reference: Table saw is to high. It should be somewhere between waist high, but not higher than kitchen countertop height. I cut my thumb on the table saw over twenty years ago. My thumb looks normal, but it does not feel normal (22 years later it is still numb). I am glad to see you are using a Gripper, I have one too, they are fantastic. The room turned out great, I think it looks amazing. As always, keep up the good work, I greatly appreciate that you take the time to produce these videos.

The ceiling looks amazing! I should've done this when my kids were younger...
Ok, if you decide to do this again in another room, roll the stickers and peel back off only a small part at a time. This way you can do it by yourself easily ,however you should have either a scaffold or 2 ladders with a plank in between so you don't step down and unroll and then roll up again, i.e keep close to the ceiling till the end.

Excellent choice. We're looking to do something similar in our home theater with fiber optic LED lighting.

I'm planning on doing this in my home theater. Glow in the dark paint is a great idea too. Maybe it'll pick up some of the LED light from the soffit. Fiber optic ceilings would be too low, and are crazy labor intensive.

You mentioned that you pre-drilled the beams but did you also pre-drill the supports? I was wondering if the support would pieces split when you put the screws in. Also, did you wood putty over the recessed screw heads so the screws would not show or did it hide the screws enough to just have them recessed?

It looks like you have a high ceiling. Is it a bit less awesome applied to a standard ceiling because of potentially giving the room a smaller feel?
