ADDITIONAL REVIEW NOTES:
Can $99 earbuds compete with those that cost $250, $300, or even $400? Well the new Soundcore Liberty 4 NC have arrived and aim to do just that. When I saw that the spec sheet checked nearly every box on my “perfect earbuds” list, I had to check them out. These have LDAC, an incredible battery life, multipoint connectivity, and unlike their predecessor the regular Liberty 4’s, these have powerful ANC which should resolve one of the biggest problems with those buds. So let’s get into it
FEATURES
Google fastpair
Fit test
Battery = 8/40 hrs with ANC
Extremely customizable touch controls
Safe volume limiter
Wind reduction
Extra low latency gaming mode
Auto play/pause
Mono mode with Bluetooth 5.3
Sound leak compensation
Multipoint connectivity
Find device (jut plays a sound)
Select auto power off period
DESIGN
Fit = I am picky and these stayed in my ears well
Besides ab workout
Colors = 5 different options
Physical button is a drawback, but has a light which looks cool and is more secure for drops
Wireless charging = ?
Comfort = 4 different tip sizes, very very comfortable for me. I barely notice them in my ears
Water resistance = IPX4
MIC TEST
ANC
Adaptive ANC 2.0
Claimed 98.5% sound reduction (but ears sort of work on a log scale)
Design includes a noise isolating chamber - not sure how unique this is but ok
Wind noise reduction option
SOUND
CODECS = LDAC
11mm driver
Lots of sound settings including 3d surround sound, HearID custom EQ, actual custom EQ, and tons of presets
It takes 10s to switch to LDAC
Very warm and bassy
Bass can be big and deep but generally more boomy and not that tight or puchy. I personally do not like the default Soundcore Signature EQ at all. Muddy and vocals are downed out
Bass is sort of mushy
Highs seem to lack detail
Instrument separation is weak
I won’t talk about the EQ too much because there are so many EQ options to customize. But I will talk about the general struggle to find a good eq
Kind of tough to EQ to a good place
I tried the intelligent test. I could hear every beep so that was useless and then the end result was not actually a great EQ
Overall I am not really impressed by the sound quality here
Definitely not natural or articulate
These would be decent for workouts when I am ok with a big muddy bass. Not my favorite sounding buds, but if you love the features and specs and are not a big person, you can get used to this sound and thoroughly enjoy these earbuds
As far as a spec sheet is concerned, these check all the boxes for any pair of earbuds in 2023. Pros:
Great ANC
great features
multipoint connectivity
great customization in a nice app
CONS:
Sound
Case has a physical button
Overall I am sure anyone who buys these would be quite happy with them. So if you want the best earbuds at the best price but do not care about sound, these are the perfect pair for you. If you care a lot about sound, check out Sennheiser’s budget buds.

Hello Mike ,Are Jabra Elite 4 good?Have you tried them?I am looking for a nice pair of ANC eardbuds, are there any upcoming earbuds that are releasing from jabra that I should lookout for like Elite95T or 8 Pro anything high end like that??or from any other company??i have been using 85T For 2 years now and they stopped working, wondering if I should get jabra elite 4 or Jabra elite 7 pro or wait for an new release?
I would appreciate your suggestion.I use earbuds almost 9-10hrs a day[at gym, morning joggs,work]...so ya wondering if you can suggest anything.
Thank you
What is your favorite set of earbuds?
Does the EQ work with one ear? (My current soundcore do not)
Thanks in advance hopefully got lucky. That's nice pair of earbuds.
When does the giveaway end?

I like how things always are portrayed as "cheap" compared to Apple products, but lets not forget Apple charges 900,- for a simple standard. I'm an Apple user myself, not a hater, but the brand is one of the most overpriced and expensive on the planet.
Agreed. I love apple products but I don't use them because the prices they charge could simply go to an android phone that charges for features and specs rather than their brand name.
Again no hate I love apple as well, it's just those prices are only selling the exclusivity of IOS rather than hardware
I don’t quite get the logic in this…people say Apple is over priced and just paying for brand…Samsung Pro buds are $230, Pixel Buds Pro are $200, and Sony’s are $300. It goes beyond headphones too. Most brands labeled as flagship and high end are all in the same ball park for device pricing in comparison to technology value. Also these are cheaper compared to Apple and other companies versions but that’s the point. There also is premium aspects that those brands can’t match not being billion/trillion dollar companies. It doesn’t make those products bad either.
mm no . is some of the best.
Most Apple products aren’t actually overpriced. The Mac Pro is the most obvious exception.
@@Tyler-kr8vpit's absolutely over priced. Can get a brand new laptop for that garbage pad
I really like the ANC chart you have, makes it very clear on which ANC is superior depending on the buds
Using them atm. They feel really light in the ears. It feels like it's impossible to get them to fall out. And it also feels like they're just kind of floating close to the ear.
These things really are amazing considering the price point. Its always refreshing when a device from Anker/Soundcore can punch above its weight of other flagships at 3X the cost.
Wow, you ACTUALLY went outside to do a real world call quality test! I'm having to return my airpod pro 2s because the call quality is abysmal in slightly noisy environments. Like people could even hear someone talking 20 feet away. The test you showed here cements it for me. Thank you for doing a legit test and not just playing audio out of a speaker for "ambience" testing!
You can choose what microphone mode you want on Apple, wide band, normal and noise reduction.
haha i tried to play music for my son and put my speaker up to my earbuds (that were in my ears) and he literally didn't hear anything. airpods are popular because they're amazing and you have tons of options but they can't read your mind just yet. somehow they block all noise except my voice, i even gave my son a pair and it's just crazy how well they work. i like how he went outside for for the "ambience" test but he didn't speak with a human in person to test "vocal" mode.. my airpods are great at that too. and the noise cancellation mode that will shut off and turn to transparency when it hears you or somebody else speaking. it's perfect for my job, I can block out everyone and everything in the background but if someone comes up to me and says anything its like the airpods just disappear
try disabling or enabling voice isolation genius. based on what your actual issue. as usual the issue is the user.
Thanks for the mic test, it's still my dream to be able to walk down a street and have a clear conversation with friends with just small earbuds in. This seems to be a bit better from the past, but still definitely not there.
I've iust lost one of my 1st Gen Echo Buds, that I paired with my iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch, so the timing of this video is perfect! Regular AirPods don't stay in my ears, so I need something more fitted. Might have to give these a go.
Thanks, as always, for the video!
Yeah, the dark blue are really good and the light blue. I have both of those and they're awesome.
these are great. its crazy how good the sound quality becomes once you enable anc and remove all that background noise. at this point, i wouldnt buy any earbuds if they didnt have good anc. anc is very important.
انت عراقي 😂😂😂
I agree, these earbuds are great I just bought them yesterday and used them until low battery. The surround sound is exceptional and I enjoyed watching Netflix movies, listening to music, so crisp and with punchy bass. The ANC mode is spectacular and it offers lots of adjustments in the app. My original plan was to buy the Anker's headphones LQ30 but the sales lady induced me to try these instead and I was mesmerized with the sound. Compared with LQ30, Liberty 4 NC sounds way better, especially when you activate the ANC the sound quality does not change. In all my earbuds and headphones that I've tried, these probably are the best that I have experienced so far!
So given you said the Liberty 4 NC’s are the best of the ones you’ve used I’m assuming you don’t own any AirPod Pro 2’s?
@@ProudBostonian i dont and have no intention of owning it. Tnx
How's the battery life
I have trouble choosing Life Q30 which is a headphone where it should be offering better sound or L4NC
How is the transparency mode?
Dunno what expectations you tech reviewers have for ear bud cases, but compared to something like the PowerBeats Pro case, that case is minuscule and will fit in any normal pocket...or any pocket that isn't a skinny jeans pocket.
This is an easy purchase...even compared to the Liberty 4 earbuds. There's more features, shamefully, and the only real drawback, if you can call it that, is the compromise in sound which, for a pair of $100 earbuds, isn't the thing I'd have the highest expectations for anyway. There's that, and the fact that your average consumer won't give a crap about the "intricacies" of how sound works and...sounds, because they are only going to care if it sounds good. The button on the case also doubles as a battery gauge, and is in no way intrusive.
I'm truly impressed with the specs sheet of these earbuds, and according to those who actually experienced these earbuds, I appreciate the translation of those specs to real world usage even more. There's also the future firmware updates to consider, which could make these some of the most impressive budget earbuds ever.
It would be nice if SoundCore put themselves out there more with some advertising, etc. They've been setting a LOT of impressive and long overdue standards with this type of product, and the more popular and established competition needs to be humbled and shaken up, as they sell their names more than a truly impressive product.
That's what I mean when I say companies and sleepers like SoundCore needs to step their presence up, because they make 'disruptive' products, like this one, that set a new and far more reasonable standard for a quality product, compared to the horribly deceitful mold of spending as much money as possible for a better product, when they usually lack a laundry list of features found in a cheaper product. I can't tell you how unfathomable it is that this $100 headset has wireless charging, multi-point, and a better Bluetooth standard than my $250 Beats Fit Pro. At least I didn't pay anywhere near that price tag for them.
That's weird. Your ANC Test presentation shows how Liberty 4NC surpassed other more expensive ear buds and just a bit lower than Sony's XM4! I am extremely satisfied with Soundcore's ANC quality, especially a way lower priced compared with top brands
My Liberty 4ANC arrived, replacing my Liberty 2. Geeked out on ALL the features… 🥁🥁🥁Roll…
WOW! WOW! Sound quality OUTSTANDING!👍
I can't wait to see the outcome of the video. I love the case design light blue are my favourite colour
I have bought Samsung galaxy buds2 pro...also bought Soundcore liberty 4NC...After listening to the Soundcore liberty 4NC...l donated my buds2 pro to a friend free of cost...The sound quality ...battery backup...fitting...is far far better then the buds2 pro...Am a Samsung lover...but truth is truth...Waiting to have the Soundcore liberty 5 NC when it will be launched...love from lndia....
Bro any issues while using WhatsApp calls
Another reason why some people may only wear a single earbud is because of company policy. I have worked at a place where they specified that only a single earbud can be used at work, but the other ear has to be open to the surroundings in order to get a better awareness for safety reasons.
Same
Lmao what a shit place to work 😂
That's a good thing.
Sounds like the Bluetooth earpiece from the 2000s
That is dumb.
Just got the Soundcore Liberty 4 NC buds. They sound good and the Noise cancelling works well. Long battery life and the case charges on the go. Great for listening to podcasts and calls in a noisy place. Fitting seems ok. though after awhile of running around I adjust them back in for better seal. Using the double tap I can switch modes, play/pause etc. Liking them so far.
Same here. I looove it! Great noise cancelling and very fast connectivity. ❤
Do they have Google Assistant?
How long the bettery of the earbuds lasts??
Thanks for the bud, sir. Helped pick me up on tough day.
Ordered mine yesterday. Fancied a change and these seem great at a higher price.
update?
Been subbed for a while, would love these.
Sony WF 1000 XM4 also have the feature to connect 2 device with the latest software update.
Was this filmed before or after the update that fixed the transparency mode?
I just bought today and i totally love it❤
Exchanged my gen 2 AirPods for these, I never liked how AirPods fit, but my wife was unaware of my needs for earbuds: battery length, sweat resistant, ANC, and good fit. I let her test these out and she became aware why I wanted these. Just need some foam tips and I’m good to go.
Man! Soundcore out there sending goodies to everyone 😂 I'd like to give my address as well for next time. My purchased today for the dark blue. Can't wait for it to arrive.
You said you really didn't like the sound that you were getting out of these are buds.
But if you spend a bit more time, you can seriously get them tuned With the many options within the app.
These babies are seriously good.
I'm extremely impressed.
Agreed, the hearing test eq was crap though. 5 mins messing with the custom EQ its perfect. Way better sound quality than I expected
Does the Liberty 4 have 1, 2, 3 custom squeezes as this ones? gotta know so i can choose between them
For the average person who can’t differentiate good or bad sound quality, this will just be a perfect earbud.
I just ordered mine and can’t wait for it to be delivered tomorrow.
What are your thoughts on them?(:
@@leocutie9419 absolutely worth it, fits comfy in my ears, fabulous Noise cancellation better than the AirPods Pro, good transparency mode and the battery life is just u believe-able. I took a 2.5hr train ride to and fro and it didn’t even have a drop in the battery life.
@@EddysReviewscan you double tap them to skip songs like airpods?
@@bootymagician it’s better than that. It has 4 controls; single, double, triple tap and long press. Which can all be customized on the app to do what ever you want. And the best part is, you can customize both the left and right earbuds. Which means you can have 8 different controls, 4 on each ear.
Huh?😂
hey Mike which of these two earbuds should I get? these Liberty 4 NC or the Galaxy Buds fe
Someone should invent a head size standard and fit these to each head size so we see how much bigger they are compared to other models
I always used to buy sennheiser and B&O earbuds. After hearing the soundcore A40's and only paying 100 for them. I dont think ill ever buy a sennheiser product again. B&O EQ is good but not a 300 dollar difference in comparison to Soundcore products.
Indoor mic test great, outside not so much.
Can you multipair and use one pink and one blue at the same time?
Great review. Wish could have seen more on the mics and with perhaps parallel to the road as if someone is walking a sidewalk vs back towards the road where directional mics would have a harder time picking them up since the sound is coming from the opposite direction from which they're directed and in open areas no buildings to reflect the sound back like inner city
Or maybe try using the mics inside a busy cafe.
I just bought some like blue one brilliant sound come out
I bought this earbuds. The one thing that makes it a 10/10 for me is it perfectly fits in my ear, in my experience about the sound it is great as long as you change the preset in it's application and base on the call experience with my girlfriend, she said that I sound clear even with loud background music and windy because of fan. I love this earbuds so far 😊
that outdoor mic test was impressive!!
I like sound core cus of the mics when i talk to my friends with air pods i cant hear them sometimes
I am still rocking with my souncore life p3 earbuds. They are amazing. I recently bought a pair of the life Q30 hybrid over the ear headphones during prime day. They are also amazing, soundcore is my favorite headphone company!
I read the firmware update fixes the microphones, ANC & sound.
The compromise for me is the mics. Unusable with background voices or street/road noise.
Do these have spatial audio like the Liberty 4s?
Great review 👍
Does anyone know what the Seinheisser earphones he mentioned at the end are called?
Another video from the GOAT!
@@deykno87Ong jefe and floss is the goats nigga
What about quality sound? Which is the best earbuds? I need a speaker which one is the best under $300
I had the airpod pros first but they didn't sound well in the high volumes. The Liberty 4 NC can handle deeper bass and sound can be much cleaner on Androids NEW DOLBY ATMOS setting 🔊🔊🔊, And the 60 HOURS TOTAL BATTERY. It no match.
Another big disadvantage - microphone is not actually working in noisy condition. You can use them to listen to music or watch show, in a plain/train, but not to talk. They just can not pick your voice up. That's sad. Even default micro in my smartphone did this job better
Soundcore Is amazing!!!
What are the Sennheiser budget earbuds? (Model name)
I use Edifier neobuds pro is this Liberty 4 nc better than neobuds
Hi I bought it but I hear a wind noise in my headphones in noise reduction mode, has this happened to someone before and is it normal? It's a new one
samsung buds2 are around 70€ now (on amazon)
I'm curious about how ANC behaves using Zoom or Google Meeting
Can I connect it to iPhone and macbook at same time?
Do you have to sign up for an account to use the app?
*Clicks on the video and starts listening without watching the screen* "man this guy has the same intonation and cadence as Nate" *actually looks at the screen and the name* "oh that makes a lot of sense".
Can you set the controls to activate google assistant? heard they don't answer to "OK google" thanks!
Hows the ANC vs the liberty 4?
Hello, thanks for the review! My 1 more comfo buds pro broke, and I just got this Soundcore Liberty 4NC, but got some questions with voice assistant, please see if you can help... I use a Samsung S21 FE. I set the 4NC controls to tap and activate google assistant, but there is no prompt sound. And when I use Google Assistant to make a phone call, it says I have to unlock the phone first.
I didn't have these issues with the 1 more comfo, do you know how to set these 2 items?
Many thanks!
I got these because my OnePlus Pro 2 buds had such poor noise cancelling. Not only do the Soundcore have great noise cancelling, but they sound better than the OnePlus and have great customization. An absolute steal for the price!
"totally unbiased" - yea they gave me a ton of them.
Guys, BUY THIS DAMN THING. It was delivered today and it is really awesome... 3D sound is really weird and great, it feels like you are in a room and music is echoing. bass is great. The sound quality is similar to airpods pro but NC4 has way better bass.
Edit: I must say, bass of this soundcore is DAMN GOOD.
I second the motion😊
AirPods Pro 1 or 2?
Are they water resistant?
Wow. You just said “better than the airpods pro”. Thats a huge statement. Specially when OP says sound quality is compromised
Still good?
How does it compare to Oppo Air 3 Pro?
Gd . A very good earbuds. Could u pls compare liberty 4nc and Xiaomi buds 4 pro please thank. I want to buy one. But unsure which to buy.
This one or life p3 regarding mic?
Anyone know which eartips compatible with L4NC?
Apparently the

Thanks for the review. How do these compare with Nothing2, AirPods Pro2, & XM4 in terms of sound quality, like the clarity and punchiness, etc
they’re $100 and the others are over $100. What do you think ?
@@kavid8120 have had cheap ones from brands like aukey that had better bass than airpods. there’s a lot of specs in headphones and some cheaper ones can excel at certain areas while lacking in everything else. and some brands sacrifice profit margins to gain market shares since they can’t compete with larger brands. so what do I think? I think you probably haven’t used that many headphones or had much experience in consumer electronics at all, and you simply think everything is linear and black-n-white.
They look real nice
If I just put them in my ear will they auto connect to my iPhone?
Really cool! Wicked..

Please suggest me 🙏🙏🙏
Which are the Sennheiser Budget Earbuds?
These things are incredible for the money.
Liberty 4 nc vs Huawei freebuds pro 2
Only for sound quality.
Which is best among this 2.
Anybody can suggest??
Pls
Damn cool case....too bad I got here too late for the giveaway.
I'm confused about the naming decision here. The "Liberty 4" which just recently came out are advertised as having ANC. So why are they releasing another seperate model with the same name plus "NC" tacked on like it's a real distinction?
I think Liberty 4 has more features, like heart rate measure, but NC is mainly focusing on the NC.
liberty 3 pro is better than liberty 4&4nc and price is almost the same. I got mine for 65€ Brand new
@@1996gang better how?
Nice. I just lost my A40 and checking out liberty 4 NC. I used mic for meetings alot and A40 did the job well. Not sure Liberty 4 NC could be same or better 🤔
Update?
@OLskewL I bought the 4NC but regretted it as it does not sit well on my right ear as it will slip out. Sound wise and telephone conversation is fine. Should have gotten the A40.
which Sennheiser’s budget buds?
No such thing as " airpods killer " that's because most people buy airpods to let other people know they can afford airpods. It's about status... Another example, airpods max. Influencers walking around with airpods max in public to get attention.
So buy Sony...
@@Uthur ok?
But airpods are actually pretty good overall quality tbh, the price isnt as artificially inflated as you’d think. It’s mostly because of the advertising costs. I’m still not gonna buy them though despite having an iphone.
Those people don’t care about quality and customer service. They’re just materialistic consumer rtards
Lmao chill Andrew Tate
Do a comparison with OnePlus buds pro 2
Considering the price, the presence of various features is great, but Anker, a Chinese company based in China, has always provided quality that matches the price range. I had high expectations every time a new product came out, but when I tried it, it was always a product in that price range. This means that it is best not to have high expectations at this price range.
Gd this buds is very good. I want Ur help Xiaomi buds 4 pro is very good bud to. Could review it and tell which one better.

The Earfun Air Pro 3 with the most recent firmware are as good as these are and usually half the price.
How do they go against the life p3. Cuz the life p3 have the same sound as the sony wh-1000xm4. No joke I was surprised. And also have ipx5. I wear them in the shower
I've seen people having way less than advertised battery usage. Can anyone confirm?
How do they compare to the liberty 3 pros soundwise? I really love the sound of the liberty 3 pros, waaay more than my airpod pros actually.

@@richardmontoya3449 thank you, I might have to pass on the 4 ncs then, as I love my liberty 3s. The only thing I don't like is how bulky they are coming out of the ear, but in my opinion, the sound quality is way better than airpod pros after tweaking to my liking.
