Test Drive of Nissan X-Trail 1.6 dci or 5 reasons to buy used Nissan X-Trail

Test drive and review of 3 years old Nissan with 1.6 dci diesel 38K km for 21 000 EUR with full options. X-Trail is one of the best choices on the market of used SUV. And defiantly biggest one in this class! That's probably why it is the most popular SUV! This model is 2015 but it is not much differ from new 2018. Facelift in 2018 brought only slightly new design of exterior and interior.
Pluses:
- size
- design
- price
- reliability is OK
- OK for light off-road
- good for long distance trips - 170 km/hour feels ok. Even 195 km/hour is possible and ok
- fuel consumption
Minuses:
- 1.6 Diesel has a luck of power and tork during the Start until turbo start working around 1750 rpm
- too long 1st gear - but it is not significant problem
- quality of materials might be a bit better
- noise protection might be better
- with 177 hp engine and CVT might be loud as well

Well I dount use the xtrail in high rpm,I like normal around 1800-2200 rpm

What a rude song lol.. I own same car, had it re mapped and its great to drive....and i can average about 50-55 to gallon..

I don't like the plastic inside of the car. Too cheap and noise protection. Despite these 2 facts nice car.
