Another amazing video Ryan! Keep it up! Just picked up a new buggy for my wife to start running with, she also likes watching your videos. Hoping for the best
Great vid, I noted in the 4wd car you said you raised the inner camber link to reduce roll. Raising the inner link lowers the roll center which would make the car roll more in corners. Lowering the inner link raises the roll center and reduces roll.
Thanks for the videos. I find them very, helpful. Especially the tuning tips. I like how you explain why you change something and how effects the buggy.
New subscriber, great video, great racing and really awesome attitude about your competition. I’m trying to stay involved in the hobby but both my local tracks closed so now I’m pretty much just enjoying watching races so it’s great that you’re posting events that I normally wouldn’t get to see. Thanks
I think it’s awesome that you explain your setup changes and why you did them Ryan. I love the hobby and have been in it for about 20 years . I am new to racing and would love to get involved in 1/5 scale racing unfortunately there aren’t any tracks close to me. So that makes it hard. Keep up the good work my friend.
Ontario, canada. They have the best tracks and community. Rc Acres. 5th scale is amazing, but it has to be on a proper track. But rc acres is about 4 hours away from me and it's too hard to get there every weekend
Hi Ryan! Watching your video from Norway, they are great :) Maybe you could show the startlist and maybe some updates on your position under the races. Anyway, great videos, good luck for the rest of the season!
Ryan I’m Looking too hit up beach line raceway some time. Lots of my old oval racers go there. Been out of racing RC for ten plus years now getting back into it.
Great video Ryan! You should take a trip to Austin and come race some 1/10 turf with us at Thornhill. Theres a big race coming up this spring called Turf Tamers.
Is that a 12th scale I see? Going to the Snowbirds? Wish I lived around there so I could go. I have a CRC Xti-WC. Honestly, 1/12 is more fun than off road. 17.5 you'll be running, I guess?
Hi Ryan! Always enjoy the videos! Thanks for the setup info/insight, but maybe also mention tire compound and tread next time? Will you ever get into Nitro buggy?
1.I like your videos a lot and loved the astroturf 2. it's 13.5 Maybe we're unloading the diff with so many left/right turns and long time to accel? Cherish your motor ez to blow up over gearing on carpet. I had my own personal carpet offroad for awhile like Tessman.
Thanks for a really nice video again. I asked myself have you used in the past your own videos to analyze your driving style or how the car is handling on the track? I think especially in slow motion it is much useful. Next time if I am on the track I need someone who will record me.
Hey Ryan, I kinda hope you go through your older Videos too! I have questions... First, Congrats on a great Day!! You looked good out there. As I mentioned in my previous comment on your newer Video, I'm Old School. In fact, I'm just OLD!! 😜 I have not Raced, even Semi-Pro, since 1997. The Rig's are DEFINITELY different!!! As you well know, Stock Class used to be very simple - 27 Turn Brushed Motor, Sealed Endbell, certain weight restrictions.... (Although a few of us figured out how to "tweak" the Endbell, carefully, for that extra bit of Timing Advance!!!) 😵😱😱 There were NO clever Electronica, to detect what we did.... Of course that's all WAY different today!! Being an Old Fart, I'm JUST finally starting to understand Brushless Motors!! Not completely yet..... For one, I NEVER REALIZED that 17.5's were SO fast!! Thanks to Über confusing specs lately, my best guesstimate puts 17.5 at about 2200-2300kv..... I run a 2400kv Brushless Sensorless Motor on my Wraith, and in 2S, it's SLOW!!! Now granted, my Wraith weighs about 14 POUNDS! But still, I can only get as much out of it, as a 30-35 Turn Brushed, as far as RPM. HOW ARE YOU GUYS DOING IT??? I'm also new to Lipos... I was always worried about them BLOWING UP!!! 💥💥💣🔥🔥💥!!!!!! I'm only a little more comfortable with them, not even through my first MONTH with them. I can't deny that I LOVE the fact that they will put out at LEAST 7.7v all the way through their Discharge Cycle!!! 👍👍 However, I still keep getting conflicting advice. 😵 HOW LONG can I keep one Charged??? I have the Lipo Cutoff in my ESC set to 3.4v... Is that OK? In your opinion. I ALWAYS Balance Charge. Is that Overkill?? During your 2WD runs, you mentioned running only a Rear Swaybar, and SOFTENING the Front Springs. (!!!!) In my Day, that would have given me SO MUCH Oversteer that the Car would be uncontrollable!! Are these new Buggies THAT much different?? I'm actually thinking about getting back into 1/8 Scale Buggies!! Not full Competition (I AM 54! Don't have the same reaction times), just some Club Fun. Haven't decided on Nitro or Electric yet - nowadays there DOESN'T seem to be any appreciable difference! I've been watching your Videos for awhile now, and realized that I never Subbed you. 😱 I just fixed that!! I hope I haven't overloaded you with questions. Even in these "kinder, gentler times", it's STILL not easy to get any good info out of Pros!!! It's not like I'd be going after them on the Track! You seem willing and very helpful. A rarety in ANY Sport. Thanks! Carmine 💥 ⛽
Hey Ryan, quick setup question. At 12:15 you stated that you raised the inner camber link up to reduce the roll.....I always thought raising the inner camber link increased roll?
Hi Ryan! I love your videos. I know much more about rc buggy's (asspecialy about stock classes), and learn English. Great montage and great quality! Grettings from Poland. P.S. Now i must buy buggy. Now i'm racing 1/12 pancar's.
I’m just getting into buggy racing and I will be going to a track for the first time soon, and I was wondering what your go to tire preference is for indoor clay?
Ryan, how much aero effect are you seeing with your spoilers? Do you trim them for tracks, or do you have preset wings? I thought from flight school the coefficient of drag is greater under 60mph and therefore less beneficial. Great videos brother, thanks for breaking everything down so well.
Haha always enjoy the vids and love your music haha would love to have a track day with you brother. I really want to get started in racing but it’s pretty intimidating considering all the brands and classes and the price tag of kits would have my wife kick my butt lol anyways love your channel! Love the info and the action its a lot of fun. Usually I get about halfway through your vids then grab a rig and my ramps and try to do whips and imagine I’m racing lol just a big kid 😁
It's called the astro "pile". in the UK we try to lay the astro down with the pile in the correct direction for which the track will be run, as not to make the cars do wire things like drifting wide or wandering on power.
you made a set up change on your 4wd,moving up one hole on the inner camber link to reduce roll, people have told me that it increases roll going up and decreases roll going down, whats your take on he situation?.
Would be cool if you could post the results sheet. Would be kind of cool to see the lap times and what not of you and the other drivers. Not that it can't be found on the internet just would be cool if you showed it in the video. Good driving too by the way.
Nice to see you drive an save sumthing for the points an to finish great video an racing keep up the good work an great driving best of luck to you an great driving from alot of changes are tweaks during qauils nice
love the videos, just getting back to rc car racing after several years of raising a family. I see your running a Futaba system, do they make a wireless receiver?
Dude, you are awesome. I think you should buy a wltoys 1/12 or something along those lines and see how close to hobby grade you can make it. And maybe even like race it😂😂
A little follow up maybe a lower spur, but a more general setup advice you looked really fast on the back right switch backs, probably as fast as who won you want to tune your car to be good in 9/10 turns if possible not really good in one or two turns then slower in the rest... might have been the suspension and the unloading thing.
is that a 1/12 pan car in the background ???? If it is, please make some videos of 1/12 too C: Awesome quality as alwways, but i miss the background songs.
City of Cocoa not Cocoa Beach... sorry, it's my hometown! Great video! Just got my first RC car 3 weeks ago and been following your videos. Even though mine's a Kyosho I've found your content very helpful.
Weather in fl is great i want to move to the south again beyter living an more racing not much 1/10 for but 1/8 is where its at for me nitro an electric
Our local track went turf last year, it's a lot of fun. Our is a higher pile than this track, pretty soft and spongey, but a ton of fun. Traction is always on so, if you mess up, it's all you. Teaches you a lot about setup if you want to keep competitive. Our local clay track is fun, but i'm over the mud and watering system. Cleaning tires after every run is a pain and the traction being dry for some heats and wet as hell for other heats, got old fast. Turf gives everyone the same advantage, just determines how well your kit is setup and how well you can drive
Thumbs up for Jungle Book? lol
Ryan Harris at one point on the GoPro, I'm sure the front wheels were dancing (in time) with the music 🎵😂
Ryan Harris I'm doing my first big race weekend this weekend and I'm nervous and exited #ultralinercraceway
Dang, another great video... that onboard camera on your B6 was AWESOME.... you should do one of those types of videos of just of practice
Sickest UA-cam video sound track ever!! Jungle book!! Got all 3 of my kids dancing in the kitchen!!
Another amazing video Ryan! Keep it up! Just picked up a new buggy for my wife to start running with, she also likes watching your videos. Hoping for the best

Awesome choice of music. Hilariously appropriate for RC ... man cub looking for fire

ah yeah the 1/5th scale stuff is cool, but I have no idea where those have a good following and track.
Ontario, canada. They have the best tracks and community. Rc Acres. 5th scale is amazing, but it has to be on a proper track. But rc acres is about 4 hours away from me and it's too hard to get there every weekend
ROBBIE RACER ,
I live in Massachusetts. Lol

Wow, great edit RyanSH!

Solid performance 👍
That track looked big, and fast, and then the jumps were small so quite challenging. Was a good watch sir 🙏
Thanks for checking it out Andy!

Great footage RYAN your car was on buddy nicee setup
another great video brother, great job on the race !!! good luck on the series as well
Thanks man!
Hi Ryan! Always enjoy the videos! Thanks for the setup info/insight, but maybe also mention tire compound and tread next time? Will you ever get into Nitro buggy?
Thanks for all the vids, they have been fun and informative! Any chance you would share what kind of tool box you have on your bench?
It's a Plano Phantom series box from the late 80's!
Very Cool! Thanks!

You are correct! I mis-spoke on that point in the video! Sorry about that
Hey no worries at all. I'm always trying to learn! Thanks for the awesome vids!!
Hi Ryan! I love your videos. I know much more about rc buggy's (asspecialy about stock classes), and learn English. Great montage and great quality! Grettings from Poland.

I thought from flight school the coefficient of drag is greater under 60mph and therefore less beneficial. Great videos brother, thanks for breaking everything down so well.
Try running with, and without wings, also slowly trim it down, it makes a huge difference in keeping with nose down, or letting it float.
Haha always enjoy the vids and love your music haha would love to have a track day with you brother. Awesome dude. Happy RCing from New Zealand
Awesome! So cool to see the rc community spread out so far and wide!
Will someone please make a video explaining all the different classes and rules man this sports so hard to get into
you made a set up change on your 4wd,moving up one hole on the inner camber link to reduce roll, people have told me that it increases roll going up and decreases roll going down, whats your take on he situation?.
great results mate well done!
Video editing is beautiful!

Wireless or antenna-less ?
antenna-less..
Yes the antenna less one.
Ive got one it's definitely worth getting much neater and simple to install
Dude, you are awesome. I think you should buy a wltoys 1/12 or something along those lines and see how close to hobby grade you can make it. And maybe even like race it😂😂
Ryan just curious why you run the B6D and not the B6, I thought the B6 would be more suited for Turf/Carpet ?
My car is in B6 format for this race! Gear diff and laydown transmission are a must for turf
Ah yep I should have taken more notice @ 5:30, so you can change the rear diffs and layout with the same chassis ?
Yes! I think as long as you have the latest chassis, you're good to go.
Ok thanks Ryan, looking to get a B6D, so was curious, nice driving btw, wish I could drive half as good as you.
A little follow up maybe a lower spur, but a more general setup advice you looked really fast on the back right switch backs, probably as fast as who won you want to tune your car to be good in 9/10 turns if possible not really good in one or two turns then slower in the rest... might have been the suspension and the unloading thing.
When u hit a jump what did you do I have arrma senton 6s blx it a 4x4 wheel drive
Great finish Ryan!!!
Thanks Mike!
great camera on this one
Was that paige van zandt?
Would you recommend 4wd or 2wd 1/10 for a beginner and as a first ground up build?
2:54 Dayum!! that 2 wheelin' tho!
What do you think of dirt oval racing
What's the name of that song during the opening segment?
What amount of motor turn do you recommend for a 2wd Schumacher cugar kc
17.5,13.5, or 10.5
Depends on your class! If stock, 17.5 would be choice. If mod, 10.5 is a mild start 👍
Do you race there often? Close track to you?
I see u have a i charger whats the big deal with those and is it worth the 300 bucks for one?
Great place and nice video Ryan.
Thank you Martin!
@ryan harris who is that kid at 12:44 ?
Laydown or stand up for the next race at newberry?
I'm planning for laydown, but I will bring both just in case
Did you two wheel it ?
Well done Ryan,
is that a 1/12 pan car in the background ???? If it is, please make some videos of 1/12 too C:
Awesome quality as alwways, but i miss the background songs.
1/12th scale indeed! Video coming soon on that one. I will put some back ground music in the next one for ya ;)
Oh nice, i run 1/12 scale 13.5 1s, it's super fun.
Another awesome video
Thanks man!
Thanks for all the tips bro
17:42 You mean, you hope this IS your throw out, meaning the other rounds are better?
Kinda lol I was thinking should I not be able to make enough to complete the series. I should be able to complete the series though!
Good job dude!

She is a XRAY FACTORY Team driver
If I see a woman anywhere near an RC car, I'll click. Lol, I can't help it. 🤷♂️
Hi, I'm just new to racing and I only have the AE rc10b4.1 converted to 4.2 ..My question is, is the swing arms if the newer model fits the 4.1/4.2?
