His swing talent comes from his dad who was a comedian and singer. A few years ago he did a rat pack show in Vegas with his dad and sold out every night. This man can do rock, pop, swing and rap. Incredible showman, and comedian.
this show seems to be a 'notification', how 'marketable' this type of music...convincing people like producer Michael Buble, to produce albums with this type of song
I really like his music and stage persona, but apart from the stage he can seem very arrogant, especially in the beginning of his solo career, when he talked shit about the other members of Take That and especially Gary Barlow, whom he labeled as a mediocre singer.
@pheeku6996 They both admitted to being very young and immature. All is good. Gary said that Robbie was the baby of the band, and they should have taken better care of Robbie than they did.. they didn't see him spiraling cuz they were also young.
I love Jazz and I love Robbie Williams. The best performer and singer to come out of a boy band. I admire how he used that as just a step to his real calling.
He grew up watching his dad sing songs like these in clubs so he always loved this style and the way to sing them. When he recorded the album he actually worked with some musicians who had worked with Frank Sinatra.
Thank you, for reacting to this video,I knew for years!!! Excuse me for that I'm not so perfect in the english language! Wanted to say, that reactions to this video are rare, but your's honest!!! Thank you for doin' this!!! Greetings from Austria!
So glad you're doing this concert as well. The man is a talent for sure and North America is lesser for not knowing about him. Would love to see a review of his Vegas show and Live in Leeds as well. Keep up the great reactions!
How fun that you are doing this concert! Clearly this type of music isn't for eveyone these days but a good classic is still good today. It's simply great music and I love a huge orchestra behind an artist. You feel it. Yeah! It shows that Robbie loves it. He's always such a showman and knows how to capture the crowd. On to part two. This was great. Been years since I saw this concert. Thank you!
I love Robbie Williams i have seen his album live at knebworth (dvd) i love love his christmas album the past, the present and the future wit different styles of music. This man is such a great artis and very nice to watch🙃
I don't normally go for this type of music and I think for many of his fans Robbie introduced them to it, his MrBojangles rendition was a hit for him I think. At a time he was as popular as Eminem but in the U.S it seems they often don't know him. He's always been really open about his issues and tells the most outrageous stories, very little shame in the guy and such a showman like the other commenter said. He can sing in many styles and makes fun of his own bravado so it doesn't become annoying.
So happy you finally recognize this great concert of Robbie and I think you can see, how it was a big dream of him to do it. I'm looking forward for part 2 - most notably the amazing "Mr. Bojangles", the funny duet with his friend Jonathan Wilkes and his emotional "mum, this is your son"-moment... :-)
Love this! I watched this complete concert on dvd with my opa, he didnt know Robbie Williams at the time, but knew all the songs.. 🎶🎤🎸 Great memories with my opa and his guitar 💖
Like I said Mr. H. I have a love/hate relationship with Robbie. But this is the Robbie Williams that I love. And looking forward to the song Me and My Shadow which Robbie performs with one of his best friends Jonathan Wilkes. It's awesome...

This in my opinion is when ROBBIE Williams was at his very best & proved his doubters wrong with a huge performance.
Robbie is the GOAT. A real star and a very sensitive human being. Plus a cheeky chap 😂😍 This is not normally my thing but love this.
I love Robbie singing Mr Bojangles, what a performance he gives.
his best concert ever in my opinion! he's an amazing performer!!!!
Love this kind of music, and no one else like Robby can perform this so wel what a showman he is.

He is a big Sinatra fan, I knew that.
I Don't know how one could dislike him. He's a funny entertaining, down to earth guy.
I really like his music and stage persona, but apart from the stage he can seem very arrogant, especially in the beginning of his solo career, when he talked shit about the other members of Take That and especially Gary Barlow, whom he labeled as a mediocre singer.
He admitted those wrong acts, they'd reconcile now...

@@HeidellaRobbie was only 16
my hero since i was young :-) the best of the best ... ok but i still young with him .. superb performance!!
If music had "elder statesmen" - that evening put Williams in that league and prepared for decades of us listening to him.
