*Love this little unit **MyBest.Tools** all the power I need for cleaning up the rv as I'm restoring it, it will suck up whatever will fit in the nozzle with large storage container. Beautiful.🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂😂*
Fuck me, this shit saved my life! Sometimes, out of nowhere, my brain just cannot compute something really fucking simple. In this case, how to put the fucking dust bag in! I don't know why I'm like this, but nothing in the multiple documents provided OR their instructional videos thought to point out something so obvious! THANK YOU
Hi Frankie, Don't be hard on yourself, I have had several other messages from people who have had problems with the picture based instructions that Ryobi provide. They could make them clearer.
I love this thing more and more🌼 Suction is as good as any other small capacity shop vac. Not like a big 6.5HP whatever. But all of the smaller ones are about the same. I have a small corded ShopVac and this thing is about the same.
Lmao so the inside vac carked it, bought this exact model this time. I never would have imagined how bloody useful an unboxing of a vaccuum would be.... TWICE!
I have a unit with a cloth pre-filter that goes over the cartridge. When would I use this? Presumably not necessary with the dust bag? Use it when there's no dust bag? Basically I want to vacuum up larger objects, bits of timber, and nails.
Hi Alex, I don't recall receiving a cloth filter with mine, but it was a while ago now. I did receive a foam cover that fits over the cartridge when using the vacuum in its "Wet" mode. Perhaps your cloth filter is for the same purpose. Where ever possible, I recommend using the bag. That way you are better protecting yourself from fine dust particles, especially when emptying the vacuum canister.
I got everything right except the filter bit. The manual is hopeless. Thanks to this video. However, this foam is very easy to tear. I beat you many users have rip the foam when fit it on 😅😅😅
Hi Tony, If you had said router or sander, then I would say yes, but table saws throw out dust in a few different directions, so some always escapes no matter which dust extractor you use. So yes it will remove the dust, but not 100% of it. Also you will probably want to put a cyclone or a dust separator between the vacuum and the table saw or you will fill the vacuum bags too quickly.
I can’t seem to attach the floor attachments to one another it is tricky. I looked at 6:50 in this video and you do not attach the second attachment. Can anyone help?
Hi, I'm not sure exactly which bits you are having trouble with, but.. The two wands or poles are tapered, meaning that they are wider at one end. This allows two wands to be joined together, wide end to narrow. This will leave one narrow end exposed which goes into the cleaning attachment. You can only use one cleaning attachment at a time. they don't connect together. The other end of the wands connect to the vacuum hose.
As many have mentioned it is shocking how useful someone familiar with basic workshop vacs unboxing one can be with how bad ryobi's instructions are, grabbed a similar model for the garage as I have recently started doing some woodwork along with the homebrewing so it kinda became a required item and I have never seen such unclear instructions on fitting a bag to a vacuum. You know instructions are bad when lego and random poorly translated cheap asian imports instructions are infinitely easier to understand.
@@DarrensWorkshop what happens if it is left on? Also thanks for your video, i have a slightly different model (ryobi) and couldn't figure out how to take apart the filter from the diagram they gave 😅
I think I've just bought its big brother. I've just used it, opened it, bag is still on however there is heaps of pet hair in the drum not the bag. Not very good. And the poles are too flimsy for the length. Doesn't feel sturdy at all.
Hi, at 6:50 minutes into the video I put the floor head onto the wand. This is a pressure fit, so don’t worry about listening for a click, it just slides onto the wand. The wand has a thin and a thick end so if you can get the head on, try the other end of the wand.
Thanks, slightly different model but the instructions are AWFUL. Not one mention of how to install the dust bag, not to mention how bad the seal will be, I'm going to add tape to hold it in place.

Hi, No, it's to suck.
Thanks for this. Trying to decipher the Ryobi instructions were 🥴😅
My pleasure. Have a great day.
@Darren's workshop thank you so much for the video... their manual had my father and I a bit confused. Thank you so much .... really appreciate it
My pleasure Khumo. I’m glad it was useful.
Thanks so much for the upload! I couldn't figure out what the black foam was for, I realise now it's just for wet vacuum ingredients. Thank you!
Glad to help Suki.
The instructions for this were so vague, I writ and design manuals and was feeling frustrated, thank you for this ❤️
thank you for this video i was unsure how it all went together 😊

I still need to figure out if it goes over the lip of the nozzle or just sits there

Would this work for a table saw to suck away the saw dust while attached to the duct?

does it connect to the ryobi power tools ie the sander?
HI Rachel, I think so. I have used mine as dust extractors on other tools.
Hi could this be used as a dust extractor for random orbit sanding only? Thanks.
Hi Raho, Yes it could.
Thanks, that was helpful
You’re welcome.

May seem like a stupid question but you dont leave the wet sleeve and cover on if you using it for dry stuff?
Hi, that is correct.
@@DarrensWorkshop thank you, mine came with no instructions
@@noname-yx9gm mine neither. I got ex display, cheap.
I managed to find a pdf download for it somewhere

Is there a bigger version?
Hi, James. Ryobi do make a 30L model.
Is this also for carpet?
Hi Celeste, Yes it comes with a floor attachment. You could do carpet or hard floors.
Hi Darren question do you put the foam filter underneath the HEPA Filter please
Hi Love2sing. No you leave the HEPA filter off for wet use. So the HEPA comes off and the foam goes on.
@@DarrensWorkshop hi Darren thank you for that as I put the foam one underneath the HEPA so I'll take that out now lol
What is the purpose of the hepa filter?
thnks man❤️❤️

How do I attach the hard floor attachment I can't seem to click it on

Seems noisy
It is probably slightly louder than the festool vacuums, but not by much.
