Recently there’s been a lot of talk about the end of The Walking Dead. Not the end of the spinoffs, not the end of the series, but the actual end to the entire universe. While we still have a little ways to go, a couple more spinoffs, probably, a few more seasons of the spinoffs we have, it seems we’ve finally reached the beginning of the end.

I feel like it would make some what of a satisfying ending to make all of the spin offs wrap up into some kind of end, and let the final seconds be Judith telling the story kind of calling back to Carl in the Comics. Wouldn't be as good but it would probably be the best route.

But I really hope they include a cure this time. Partly because it feels like the communities will fall within the next 500 years or less, once the population get's big enough for a few bites to spread into a serious problem like before. Or they'll have to have some dystopian population control laws in place. Muzzles on those driving or at risk of dying from sudden natural causes. Also, it almost feels insulting that the survivor communities are going to grow and thrive while managing incidents with the hostile resurrection issue, yet the world with all it's police and military fell in a matter of weeks?

I'd assume the bike could run on non fossil fuel oils.
The commonwealth is large enough and industrious enough that they could have an oil well up and running, like the small group did in fear.
Also the clothing could be made by a lot of people who have nothing to do during winter, just like the actual middle ages and before. You grow crops, and need a lot of farmers but during winter they can't grow crops or chop wood, so they spend time inside doing things like making clothes.@@Ccg9024

Never really gave it much thought, but if you consider him, his journey and the people he has met and influenced, his come back after a decade of being a prisoner would be awesome.

The Walking Dead aired 3 months after my mom passed away, and it has been my comfort show ever since. I have watched every episode of every show, even when they weren’t so interesting. It will be sad to see it go, but nothing lasts forever.
I feel it was Dwight that came back because at the series final he told sherry that he want a to take some people back to the sanctuary and rebuild it and make it live up to its name, maybe along the way Carol took a group of people on a supply run and made contact with Dwight.
An animated, completely comic accurate retelling of the TWD would be amazing

honestly, I just really hope all the communities (basically the commonwealth since they're allies with our main communities now, except hilltop? confused on that) band up for a endgame like CRM battle led by the main man himself. It would honestly be a treat. RICK HAS TO LIVE though. Although im all for a main character sacrifice death in most cases, Rick has gone through too much, been gone too long, just to be brought back and killed off. It would kill everything if rick just dies. Idc how good the death could be, Rick deserves his happy ending growing old and lazy with his daughter and son. that being said, I hope morgan also comes back and reunites with rick and daryl should as well.
They could skip about 20 years for the final scene ever, we see and older Judith and Rj and it reveals that Rick has died. Then it reveals the statue that was built of him at the end of the comics. I think that's the only way his death could work.

I feel the most satisfying and likely end to the Walking Dead Universe would be the start of the next generation. But I can't shake that it'll ring hollow without Carl and him being the new leader of the next generation.
If they didn't make that grave mistake of killing Carl off, it would have been perfect to see this kid who we were with for over a decade, survived it all, and would be the perfect bridge between the generations; carrying on the torch passed down from his father.
Without Carl, it'll probably be good if they go that route, but not nearly as impactful as it could be.
these ideas are pretty cool and i agree when this avengers endgame like show happens there will have to be an sacrifice of someone just like how iron man went out in endgame someone should go out Negen is a good idea to get his arc wrapped up and id be down for that but i would also like to see Daryl being the one to die since after the literal decade of him being with us becoming the main man in the main show and now his own spin off it would be painful to see but it would also be the sacrifice that would hit the hardest and probably be the greatest end for the universe
An HBO series reboot I think would be very interesting. They should bring in Darabont to direct it to see what his version of the show would’ve been

The way I see it, if they ever end the Walking Dead universe it would be one way:
- Rick & Michonne take over the CRM and make it better.
- Laurent (with Daryl and Carol’s help) unify the people of France.
- Negan defeats croat and takes over that group in NYC, unifying it with the Marshalls by ultimately turning himself in.
- Maddison & Alicia having took over Padre continue to help people with the radio & resources.
Then, a movie event where they all come together to help remake the world. Rick takes over CRM, Morgan finds him and tells him about Madison & Padre. They go home and see Maggie & Carol, who tell them about the NYC group and France. They use all their combined resources to defeat the walkers once and for all
What would be the shows in this universe
Strand would be a great person to have in it. Hes just an amazing character overall. Best part of Fear and the main reason i kept watching

I think it would be awesome if they had some scene from the future, like a few hundred years after it ended. I wonder how they would describe such an event in a history book.

She’s still out there somewhere with those orphans in the game so I’m hoping she can finally find a safe settlement, the commonwealth. Wishful thinking yes but I’ll be disappointed if they don’t use such a character everyone loves (at least those who played/watched the game)

@@anthonyjohnstone695 ok and? It's a different universe, different Clementine. Different iterations of a character exist. Rick is different in the comics and show but he still exists in both, it can happen any show, movie or book.

With the way that FTWD ended I would be surprised if Madison or any other Fear characters showed up in the crossover finale, and I think that's a good thing. They'd just end up having the same issues the later seasons of the OG show had, being too many characters. They'd also have to set up the character relationships and I think it could get really messy real quick. Even disregarding Fear characters showing up I'm still concerned for that crossover concept because they'll either really disappoint the remaining fans or they have a slim chance of making it the finale that TWD should have had. This is highly unlikely considering the way FTWD ended the group has split up victor has taken his family somewhere else,June and dove go back to John dorie grave, Daniel Salazar most likely will live in isolation with skidmark, Sarah and Wendell died offscreen confirmed by victor strand, Luciana I don’t really know but considering that she is acting like Morgan she will most likely be leaving supplies for survivors and build her own empire, Dwight and sherry will be back to Alexandria which are the only few characters going back to Alexrandia along with Morgan, Al the character will be on the run from the crm her fate is left unknown, And finally Madison and Alicia will be all the way in the California halfway across the country these characters will most likely not crossover with the original walking dead show
@@UGOISCOOLNOW didn't Daniel & Luciana leave together? Also overall, I think you're correct. Most of if not all of these characters will not be seen again (except maybe Dwight & Sherry). Perhaps some communication will be kept between some of them, but it'll really be left up to our imagination. I'd love to see them meet the main show's characters but ultimately I think they ended the show the way they did to show that it is indeed the end of the Fear cast.
@@UGOISCOOLNOW I think it's unlikely too, but remember that S8 of Fear supposedly happened around the same time as S11 of TWD. So with a multi-year time skip between the end of S11 and the events of the spin-offs (which we don't really know how long they're going to take before reuniting everyone), it is at the very least feasible that they could end up going to find Morgan, Dwight, and Sherry. I do think that the only other characters that would cross over, if any, would be Madison and Alycia. Again, I don't think this is likely at all, and it would be pretty cringe tbh but you never know with AMC.

They mentioned Nebraska,Fort Benning,naval ships taking survivors to islands( Virgil's island and Padre) we also know Huck and Jadis were undercover agents for CRM. With Rick living in Philadelphia now. Do you think he will remember these guys from Randal's group?

now that i think about it, a rogue one esc final battle is definitely a possibility, but it would for sure be controversial, but at least there would be stakes
I think there’s something to be said about our characters moving in different… having people in the universe in different city’s, states, and even countries. Madison and Alicia going to LA. I think we will see these communities each of them build work together, beat the CRM, and build a world for the new generation. We will see everyone come together in something epic.

I always imagined that Judith would grow to have to execute walker Rick at the end because the beginning scene is nearly the same in reverse. Rick shoots a girl to put her down.
To me, i guess the "perfect" ending would be a combination between the optimistic "happily-ever-after" ending where everybody lives and the "next-gen" ending. I see a lot of characters dying, but not all of them, and i would say that the CRM could be a lot easier to take down than people think (i'm guessing this because i don't think the writters would be THAT consistent and would do some "creative liberties"). Plus, i guess they would do something similar to the end of the comics mixed with some new ideas.

I want a BIG ending. I want to see characters from all spin offs (even tales) included. Not every single character, but at least one or two from each spin off. As big of a force the CRM is, it’s literally going to take all of those groups to take them down. Of course, a lot of big deaths would come out of it, but I think that’ll set up the ground work for the next generation. They take down the CRM but discover there’s a bigger force, maybe a foreign government/group… which is what the next generation will have to overcome.

ive been saying this since season 3, but personally i believe that the best most fitting end to the walking dead and its universe is the death of everyone. I know it sounds bleak, however i think its fitting because at the end of the day, our favorite characters aren't superheroes, and if this show is truly one which is to showcase an apocalypse i think it would be fitting to show the death of everyone. Lets keep in mind the fact that zombies or walkers or infected outnumber humans 5000 to 1, how i would personally do the ending is everyone is eventually killed by oncoming zombies or they take themselves out like nicholas did in season 6 episode 3, then to close the show its long shots of zombies walking all around the world in different landmarks for example to show the transition of the earth belonging to the living to the dead. I know my opinion is unpopular however i belivee it could be fitting

I think Viktor Strand will be the connecting point of the shows. I think LA will also be a major location, because of the end of FTWD.
It'll end in a few years, then in a decade or two there'll be a reboot of the original show and new spinoffs. Long story short, TWD will never end.

It will end with some people staying, some leaving to find other people, and some platitudes about family and survival.
i would really have loved for fear to have ended with madison and alicia going off to join morgan. them 3 could’ve made it back to alexandria ((even if it was off-screen and hidden from us for a year or two)). dead city can eventually wrap up, perhaps with maggie finally accepting negan ((which is long overdue)). daryl and carol can make it back to america somehow, though there has to be some kinda conclusion to them going to france in the first place, how that could carry over i have no clue. the ones who live would be really cool i think if it ended with just michonne and rick finding each other. that’s what we’re here for. they make it back home but the fight isn’t over. then a season 12 of the walking dead which ends it all. rick and michonne make it back to alexandria. the CRM aren’t far behind, they’re coming. madison, alicia, and morgan are here already. the saviours, though not doing amazingly, have built up a sturdy crew with dwight and sherry leading. we have the commonwealth, alexandria, hilltop and the new sanctuary versus the CRM.
though they’ll probably fuck it up. i’m holding onto hope buuuut… not likely ((and yes, my alicia and madison crossover dream is out the window))

To be fair, Rosita was always a side character; maybe she got a bit more screen time than some of the others, but she always has been. It was very odd of AMC to kill her off at the very end of the series, almost as if artificially trying to make her feel like she had more impact in the show than she really did, which was little to none.

She literally did nothing the last season besides accompany the actual main characters with arcs. All Rosita did was cry and look for Coco. That's literally it, lmao

I feel like everyone’s just gonna get gunned down by a random group the camera pans to the sky and the series ends knowing the world is fcked up, there is no cure, and it’s just a cycle of “how long can you survive”. Nothing more. Are group and everyone we followed is dead and that’s life in the walking dead.
In the finale of FTWD S8 dwight and sherry actually ended up completely moving back to Virginia, and into the sanctuary so maybe some commonwealth patrols told Carol about dwight 🤔
How are you feeling about TWD Destinies, Thrifty? My experience on PC has been buggy beyond belief and borderline unplayable.
There’s flashes of a game that could’ve been fantastic if it was under a different studio. Buggy beyond belief on Xbox too. I plan on making a video about it sometime this month but it’s very hard to play for more than a few minutes at a time 😂

I think it was Michonne who came back. It'd be bitter sweet as she didn't return with Rick. It best explains Carol's behavior IMO
The spin off shows have filled me with an excitement for the universe that I stopped having at some point in the TWD seasons (about when they locked up Negan is where the interesting storylines became pretty okay or just plain boring). Although I enjoyed a lot of the last season and pretty much any scene after the fall of the savors that included Negan’s redemption arc. These spin off shows have been very fun and interesting and seeing what happens next excites and intrigues me again about the TWD universe. I also want to badly see Rick and Negan reunite and team up. I know Negan has appreciation for and is forever indebted to Rick.

Highly doubt any of the Fear characters will be a part of this aside from Dwight, Sherry, and Morgan but we shall see. I think we all just want one final season with a big Walking Dead reunion though
My prediction is that twd universe will go out as what it is: a tired,old show way past its prime still trying to perform as good as it once did

Season 6 of Fear was FANTASTIC. If you guys haven’t watched it yet you definitely should. It really expanded on the post-apocalyptic remanence of civilization in TWD world imo.

It was ok. But Fear was never the same since the soft reboot in S4 by having Morgan take over the show. Which would have been ok to include him, but killing off characters to have him be the main one was freaking dumb and S4 was one of the worst since Season 8 aired.
Let's be real, no part of FTWD was truly good after season 3. Season 6 was alright, better than 4 or 5, but definitely not fantastic.

I started watching last july, I just fineshed it, after watching that last scene in season 11 I cried, its just so sad that my fav show of all time is soon coming to an end
I think that dead city should go and have the story where they intertwine with Clementine’s Story. Where they find the kids at the school. It would be dope for the main one to intertwine with the secondary one. They are doing all these spin offs they should use an existing spin off to assist. I means you can’t say it’s not canon because it follows the events I’m the timeframes they are at. It doesn’t intertwine that much to overdo it and make it legend like Starkiller in Star Wars. So why not do it. Would be awesome at the end. The final episode of the final show or the final movie to have them find those kids and then just like Rick got interviewed at Alexandria and Commonwealth that maybe they do the same. It would be honestly dope to see Rick sit down with a woman missing a leg or perhaps got a prosthetic leg and it is Rick who says “So tell me your story” and then the camera flickers over towards the camera that is recording her and she says, “There was a man who found me… his name was Lee” and then the screen goes black.
