Brilliant as always, however I found myself frustrated at times wanting you to either use a blade to make a bigger hole, or use a thin needle to break the blackheads up a bit before squeezing. This is still a great video. Thank you x

I think I must've watched this video about 5 times now! I browse around UA-cam looking for a video that will give me my daily fix of pimple popping but somehow I keep on coming back to this one! I'm so fed up of other dermatologists poking and prodding people's faces with needles, not bothering to squeeze the junk out. Dr. Kasana, you always do it the right way! Love your tools and the way you do things. A real professional, you are.

I think he could have used his fingers a bit more on these, they weren't exactly hidden. I don't like those tool things so much myself, I think they bruise too much or as much as nails can. Blade tip fan here..

This is such a great video. I love that you are gentle with your patients and that you change tools as needed instead of trying to make one tool work for everything.
Esthetician here- a lot of doctors don't want to listen to us but you guys rarely update your practice. Don't use tools on elderly patients- they're almost always on blood thinners and it's unnecessary trauma to their skin. Make small incisions (in this case just enter the open pore) at an angle move your lance in a circle to break up the filament so you don't have to shove the life out of him. Change your applicators often so you're not sliding around and pinching his skin.
I'm just wondering, do you ever use a needle or an 11 blade to open up the pores more to get the blackheads out? It looked like a few of them needed it but I didn't see that part in the video.
Glad there is not a needle loving skin techs doing this. Too many seem to want to dig blackheads out with needle rather then pushing it out from bottom. This would be such a bloody mess for this poor old man. That having been said I have also seen amazing techs who take great in their work and do excellent job in their jobs.

I enjoy watching Dr. Kasana work. He certainly knows how to use his comedone extractors! No matter what tool is used, it will leave a temporary impression. Every tech has the right to choose the tools that work best for them.
This ⬆️! I despise when they use the Q-tips. It’s so inefficient and just makes me wanna scream not to mention the effect that it has to have on the client. It cannot be comfortable when you’re sitting there for an hour poking and prodding with a Q-tip it takes so damn long to get, a mile long blackhead out of the face
If there were an award for the biggest and most satisfying blackheads of all time (and there should be), this patient wins hands down! I could watch these forever. I feel like there were probably more blackheads to mine and I'm not confident that the large cluster of blackheads towards the bridge of his nose were fully resolved. I guess I just want more, more, more! Fantastic!

Im trying not to judge but I just don't understand how people don't clear their pores. If this was my dad, pop-pop, uncle, cousin, friend, etc. I would've had a field day in their face! And kudos to the client for taking those extractions like a champ. Especially the ones underneath the eyes and on the tip and bridge of the nose as those are sensitive areas. I know one thing. The client left out that office twenty pounds lighter.

💯%! This is barbaric. it’s very disciplining to see someone treat an elderly person or anyone of any age like this. Pressing down that hard is gonna cause pain for days if not over a week or more.
It's simple, everyone. Speed the video playback to 2. Understand that multiple tools and techniques are often needed in a case like this. If you want needles and lancets and glove wiping, you know where to go.

If there’s too much blood, you tube puts restrictions on the video. Changing to black and white doesn’t show the blood

He sticks the end in a flame to sterilise it. I don't like the look of that as much as a gleaming tool.
The extraction tool is the best rather than squeezing, there is less bruising or damage to surrounding skin.
