Hey James! So I noticed a slight issue with this older app compared to the new “color my Frenchie” one. Brindle only appears on the tan points of tan pointed dogs. It does not appear all over its coat. This only applies to tan points. This is another reason why I say the color my Frenchie app is more accurate and more up to date. Also easier platform to use.
Wow I have mixes (Chiweenies) and this helped explain why I got 3 almost pure bred looking black and tan dachshund, and 3 that look like a brindle/red dachshund. Dad has recessive genes! None of them have dads color! They didn't get much chihuahua, and I know a full history of mom so makes sense!
Hi james I have a lilac and tan who carries cream girl who just been bred with a boy who is At/at bb dd bb Ee kyky new shade. What colours/carriers will the pups be. Im from the uk. Thanks
I have a blue pied Frenchie. I got his dna results back and it says he’s AY/AY B/B d/d E/E n/KB S/S , but according to this app he would have to be a blue fawn pied showing more fawn then blue. My dog shows no fawn. Is the app wrong in this case or the dna results?
Hey James, I was trying to get the answer on the app, but couldn’t put it together. I have a blue fawn with tan points female, I was thinking of using a stud who is an isabella with at at, coco, and cream. What do you think the outcome can be?
Adds a black mask around muzzle of dog. Makes me laugh we people say i have a maskless cream French bulldog 🤣🤣. All cream dogs have to be maskless based on the fact you need two copies of e for a cream dog.
For coat color testing she came out A Locus- At: At/At, “2 copies of tan points/ tricolor gene” Cocoa: n/co “one copy of cocoa mutation” D Locus: d/d “dog is homozygous for the dilution gene” E Locus- EM: EM/EM “dog has 2 copies of allele for melanistic mask Merle: n/M “dog has one copy of merle allele” For health she came our negative on 3/4 things She came out for DM : n/DM “Carrier: dog carries one copy of the mutation associated with SOD1A Degenerative Myelopathy, and could pass on the mutation to any offsprings” i wanted to know what my dog is someone told me she was a blue and tan merle not sure? Also should i be worried about her having a copy of dm and coming out “n/DM”?
alot of people dont like dogs with dm and alot dont care just be honest with everyone and you should have no problem. I personally wouldnt breed her though just my opinion though

can't find that app?
Pretty cool app wish there was a dachshund version I’d definitely pay for it!
To get Black and Tan you have to fully choose on cream if you know E/E Em/e or so on

Love this app. I miss the intensity gen though
Hey what color would I get if I mix chocolate tri to a black tri
Whoa the bridle on the blue with tan points threw me off, the brindle should only show in the tan markings.
How do you make a fluffy carrier? If you breed a visual fluffy to a non fluffy will you get fluffy carriers???
I use this app all the time, the reason you couldn't get a black and tan to show was because you hadn't selected anything on the E locus.
This looks really cool need to try this app. Ok just downloaded app works great! Very informative!
What about a blue Sable carrying chocolate and tan (tri color)
Why is there an R in the KB?
I’ve tried this app, but I get merles and brindles even though I didn’t select KBR or M

What if you breed a sable to a blue Merle?
what if you try the actual coat calculator yourself?
What’s the name of this app
Question??? if i breed my female to merle isabella tan stud would have the pups be merle isabella? Shes a blue and tan female that carries cream
Only if she carries testable chocolate
@@LoveMyPups so half the pups would be merle but not isabella merle?
How do you make a black dog on here ?

The genetics that you are mentioning are they only for frenchie? Or are genetic colors across dogs in general?
Some of this information is breed-specific to bulldogs the relevance on other breeds I just don’t know
@@LoveMyPups well im still going to watch haha. I like the videos 📹 and the knowledge.
What about a Merle? They’re very popular today!!
Yes I love them
Hi can u give a private tuition ?
Great Video!
Thanks James 👍👍

@@cyborgmicrobluefrenchies6362 Ah I see. Guess it’s personal preference if you like that look or not. But I agree with the cream dog.
How do you get platinum on this app?
It says cream ‘platinum’
@@rhysdavis6447 i tried every combination may you be so kind to tell me the combination to get cream platinum
@@danielbarrera2220 What dog exactly? Lilac platinum? Blue and tan platinum?
@@danielbarrera2220 cream is platinum. The word platinum isn’t used on the app it only says cream !
@@rhysdavis6447 oh ok! Gotcha ty!!!
How do you get a merle harlequin in a frenchie?
Harlequin are Merle but Merle aren’t harlequin
@@bryce8602 where does the harlequin come from?
It’s a function of the merle parent Harlequin is a merle with a white background. Some merkes produce it others don’t
They would have to have harlequin and Merle gene but harlequin gene is very rare I think only Great Danes carry it. But I’m not too sure
@@LoveMyPups I thought harlequin was double merle?
Tha app is weird. I did
Male - Blue d/d
Female - brindle and results were
Lots of merles.
Make sure to
select m/m so u don’t get merles
I prefer the Color my Frenchie app
Check Out Color My Frenchie App Too It’s Very Helpful Also
Hello, I was wondering where does black Merle come from? And if you mix it with a blue what’s the result?
Brinfle merles and Brindle’s
i prefer colour my frencie
For coat color testing she came out
A Locus- At: At/At, “2 copies of tan points/ tricolor gene”
Cocoa: n/co “one copy of cocoa mutation”
D Locus: d/d “dog is homozygous for the dilution gene”
E Locus- EM: EM/EM “dog has 2 copies of allele for melanistic mask
Merle: n/M “dog has one copy of merle allele”
For health she came our negative on 3/4 things
She came out for DM : n/DM “Carrier: dog carries one copy of the mutation associated with SOD1A Degenerative Myelopathy, and could pass on the mutation to any offsprings” i wanted to know what my dog is someone told me she was a blue and tan merle not sure?
