Hey Marcus, good deal . . . no smoking. Rings and valves sound to be good. Part choke increases intake suction, yes. Try checking the float level. If not that then intake manifold to block gasket for air leakage. Regards Steve Unruh
I was just about to check the float level, pretty sure most of these cheap carbs run the plastic floats that don't adjust very nicely, might put the brass one in if the level isn't sitting correctly
@@BigBeavrSlayer LOL, You know you're going to go to the dark side ! You don't need to be a closet gasser anymore. I have three small gennys that are wood gas ready. One was a donation towards the advancement of science. The squirrels had chewed a big hole in the gas tank which I patched with one of those HF plastic welding irons using blk zip ties for the filler rod. came out great. I had to replace a capacitor and it ran great. Gave it to my daughter after it was baptized with the wood gas. Now it is her standby running on petrol
Check the rope. I've had a few snap when I needed it to run.
