Friday Night Flies - Borden Special - Pink Salmon

The Borden Special was developed by Richard Borden for coastal cutthroat in Oregon. As soon as I saw this pattern I knew that with a few tweaks to the colours and hook that it would make an effective Salmon Fly. I was not disappointed on my first outing with this pattern as we got into a bunch of Pink Salmon and I cannot wait to give this one a go for Coho Salmon as well. Richard walker I would go chartreuse and white for sure. Orange and white would work as well
