South Devon Railway Winter Gala - January 3rd 2025

Sadly visiting peckett B2 ‘Henbury’ failed and wasn’t in steam this day, which was a shame but we got to see the 28xx No. 2807 from the Gloucestershire and Warwickshire Railway in service alongside SDR home locos 5526 and 6412.

Some lovely scenes, especially in the morning and after dark. A shame to hear the SDR have gone down the route of on train announcements. Even Dartmouth keep their's short and sweet and often before departure. Not sure if it was a precorded message or not, but A & B even though there's only two carriages?!
