Some of y'all might not understand him, but I honestly can listen to Shannon talk all day, whether it be sports or social issues. He's well spoken to me. It might be his southern accent or lisp, but he's a great speaker nonetheless.

I've always liked how Ray Lewis speaks. it's motivation from the heart, he's always willing to help someone try to find the right path. his motivation works great with his play on the field, that's a guy I'd follow into combat

Why is Ray Lewis always talking like he's the coach in a football movie right before the deciding game? If you do it in some important moments it's great. But if you always talk like that it just becomes annoying at some point.

Shannon Sharpe is actually very socially aware and conscious of the black plight. I think he speaks quite coherently on many sensitive topics.
Skip reminds us that he is white because he knows he is speaking from an 'outsiders' perspective. He knows he hasn't suffered many of the experiences that blacks will face, and realizes those same experiences *will* shape the lens of how black people view this world. In short, he doesn't see the world the same way and acknowledges that before he speaks from 'his' perspective.
Ray is lost. He should stick to football discussion and not much else.
