I didn't like techno at all at the time, had never heard of hypnotic techno, and this label's curation has changed my perspective of techno and music as a whole. It's stayed a constant in my life ever since
Why stop there? It would be hard to find better music in any genre, and that the record labels are hyped up, with themselves is obvious. Here in the states, you would almost think that the record labels want to tell us what we like, or what we are going to listen to. This is music that would make a Rastafarian go techno.
@@rogereisnaugle6012 the standard american comment i read over the years is: today there is only rap and rap is crap - wow - and when i ask those commentors, if the states are really so burned out musically and that they should come here to europe, to germany, because we´re bursting of creativity and new music, they feel attacked and start cursing me down... i keep saying: you have to be aware what you want from music, music has many purposes and there are as many ways of making and liking music as there are humans... btw. i´m not a rastafarian, but a reggae musician since the late 70s and i helped building a german reggae scene - it is still there, small but alive! last year a friend of mine released a wonderful rocksteady album: "shine on" - my fave track of it is "dancing in the rain" - in case you´re interested, his name is sebastian sturm... and you can find my own album on bandcamp: "my little heaven by diet" and this music here is marvelous indeed... :-) love and greetings from germany 🙋♂

Really a astonishing listening experience. There is so much going on, that I believe, that I can listen to this mix again and again and still will find sounds as well as noises, which I didn't hear before!
We're all quite mixed, but I'd say Birds ov Paradise and Sebastian Mullaert (Wa Wu We, Jorum) are more out of the box than in. Almost all of us use hardware quite a lot though.
